The young prince laid in his bed, waiting for the right time.He looked out his window to the ocean then back at his door. It was the right time.
The prince slowly lifted his covers and scurried to the door. He threw a raincoat on despite the lack of rain, and headed for the stairwell.
One of the castle Guards saw him but didn't say a word.
Matthew, the prince, was the soon heir of the Philia Dwellers throne. He had to find a princess and take his role as king. The idea discouraged him.
Matthew would go to the ocean, throwing rocks as far as he could until something came to rescue him from his thoughts. But for that time in between, he would think about how he must inherit the throne, how he would soon find a princess, and how he still hasn't shown any signs of magic.
This time though, he snuck out at night instead of avoiding his daily duties.

Matthew grazed the beach floor and soon made his way to a rocky spot , staring down at the ocean below. Before he could get comfortable and start looking for rocks, Matthew heard a soft hum that gradually got louder.
The song beckoned him and he couldn't resist. Matthew drifted towards the sound.
He was soon met with the edge of a cliff and finally caught sight of the beauty that sung this song. It was a siren.
But before he could react a voice bellowed behind him and quickly stepped forward shielding him.
"Cronus, what are you doing on land trying to tempt the prince?"
Christian said with a glare, his blond hair just barely covering his eyes.
Cronus was a siren with medium lengthen, heather purple hair. She had a deep black tail with blue hues on the end

"I was not attempting to tempt the prince," Cronus scoffed. "I was only trying to find a boat. Must I remind you we own the sea?". Cronus's gaze shifted to Matthew.
"We wouldn't have to come to the shore if you upheld your side of the bargain."
Matthew looked at Christian with a puzzled look.
"What bargain?" Matthew asked.
"This is going to be our ruler?" Cronus huffed in disbelief. "He doesn't know about the uneven trade?"
"Leave" Christian said defensively.
Cronus flipped her soaking wet hair behind her back seductively, and sank back into the ocean.
Christian was used to this random show of affection.
"Oceanic's have no respect for royalty." Christian sighed. "What are you doing out here anyways?"
"Clearing my head." Matthew said dismissively. "And you're doing what exactly?"
"Go back to your room." Christian said, walking back towards his palace. Not bothering to answer Matthew's question.
Matthew didn't push it. Christian was a year older than him,and had to treat him as an authority figure. Christian was also Matthew's mentor. He wasn't king yet, but he did know a considerable amount more than Matthew.
