Frank spent most of his day at work, almost mindlessly. His mind was somewhat hazy during the early hours of his shift. Still stuck on the time he spent with Luna, he shook his head when he heard the chime of the bell that hung above the entrance of the record store. He looked over and his eyes widened slightly when he saw Julie stepping inside.

"Juli-"

"Don't Julie me, where the fuck were you?" she hissed, locking the door and he winced, coming around from his spot behind the counter doing his best to meet her angry gaze.

"I was driving around. I got restless but I didn't feel like killing someone." he replied slowly and she narrowed her eyes at him, looking him over.

Frank frowned as she stalked around him before leaning in, breathing in quietly.

"Who's perfume is that?" she snapped and he tensed up. "Perfume?" he muttered and she scowled, shoving him back roughly.

Agitation rushed up his spine but he knew he didn't really have the right to be angry so he held back from saying something stupid.

"I don't smell like that. You smell sweet. And not like candy." said Julie, her eyes becoming wet with tears and Frank didn't know what to say.

"Julie.." he sighed, running his fingers through his hair. Well he did say he would break up with her. Now was better than later.

"You fucked her, didn't you?" Though it sounded like a statement, even with the quiver in her voice. Frank looked away from her.

"Yes." he said quietly and Julie shoved him again, this time hitting him in the chest and making him flinch each time, but he didn't stop her.

"You promised you wouldn't fall for her!" she cried, tears streaking her face and Frank nodded. "I know..I'm sorry. There's just something.." he trailed off, not wanting to make things worse but that was hard when she slapped him.

His face stung but again he did nothing, just let her get her anger out until she fell against him, sobbing loudly.

"I hate you. I hate that I love you so much." she whispered and Frank nodded again. "I know..Julie, we can't be together anymore. Though I'm sure you knew that." he said and she tensed up, something flashing in her eyes.

"Whatever." she muttered, pulling away and wiping her face with the back of her hand.

Frank stared at her warily but she didn't meet his gaze. "Julie. Don't do anything crazy." he said slowly but she didn't respond.

"See you whenever." she muttered and he watched as she unlocked the door, leaving and slamming it behind her.

"Fuck." sighed Frank, glancing at the time. He was almost done..maybe he should warn Luna? Just in case?

Luna's phone began buzzing on her counter, she hummed softly reaching for it she picked up and placed the phone against her ear. "Missing me already Manny?" She asked giggling softly.

"Yes well no..but yes." Frank paused, smiling when Luna laughed.

"Well which is it?" she sighed and Frank chuckled. "I do miss you, but I called because I broke it off with Julie and she didn't handle it well. I just wanted to warn you in case she tries something." he said. It was quiet for a moment before Luna sighed softly.

"Honey...you know who you're talking to right? I've been doing this much longer than her. But I'll be careful, don't worry about me too much." She responded.
