~Hyunjin's POV~

"Please, let me make it up to you." I offered, my heart racing. I was just on my way to purchase some wine, and instead I practically tackled a beautiful woman. Why did my day have to start like this?

I wasn't about to let her go without making it up to her. I had the perfect idea in mind, but it had to be executed perfectly, or else I could fuck everything up for everyone.

She let out a brief sigh before mumbling "Well, okay I suppose." I couldn't contain my smile. "Perfect. Come with me." I took her by the hand. Bold, I know, but I wasn't really thinking clearly.

Her hands were soft, and her nails painted a champagne gold. She was small, probably 5'2; I towered over her. It made me feel confident.
I didn't want to come off too strong. She probably already thought I was a creep, constantly following her around. Truth be told, I really didn't mean to keep running into her like this. Literally.

I remember seeing her eyes shoot up at me when I entered Humphrey's. She looked tired, and I felt a tinge of guilt run through my veins. I didn't want to keep her long, I just wanted my coffee.

I could tell she was annoyed, but I didn't take it personally. I would be too if I was in her position. Watching the clock tick by as the shift comes to an end. Who wouldn't?

Maybe it was just me, but my coffee was better that day. Something about it was sweeter, fresher, warmer. I enjoyed every sip like it would be my last.

I'm thankful I got to make a better impression on her at the park. At least, I hope I made a better impression. I went to that park often on days off, and now that I was on my hiatus, I had more time on my hands to take in the beauty, capturing it through a sketch.

Hyun, enough daydreaming.

I led her through the streets of Seoul with my fingers intertwined in hers. It was risky, I know, but hopefully there weren't any paparazzi around. I didn't see any, so I felt a bit more comfortable.

The other members had gone to workout, so I knew the apartment would be empty. I just had to make this quick.

"Where are you taking me?" She questioned. Oh, I guess I never mentioned. Fuck, I probably look like a creep. "Oh, um...it's a surprise. You'll like it, I promise."

We made our way to the building and took the elevator. It was an awkward ride up.

I took out my keys and slowly unlocked the door, peeking in the door make sure no one was home. The coast looked clear, so I opened fully and invited her to step inside ahead of me. She followed.

"Is this your apartment?" She raised her eyebrow in confusion. "Yeah." I laughed awkwardly. "Here, this is what I wanted you to see." I went over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. There was a drawer filled to the brim with fruits; blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, you name it.

Felix had placed an order for some ingredients the other night, as he's been trying to get better at cooking. He went a bit overboard, however, and messed up the measurements. We ended up with 25 cartons of eggs, 50 boxes of hot Cheetos, a 10 kg bag of flour, and a massive carton of mixed fruits.

"Here, have as much as you'd like. We- uh, I mean I am surely not going to need all of this." I gestured shyly at the stock pile in front of me. Her eyes lit up wide, and she gave a cute smile.

Wow...she had a beautiful smile.

"Really..? Are you sure? You didn't have to do all this-" I interrupted her by placing my hand on her shoulder gently. "Really. Please, take as much as you'd like." I gave her a warm smile.

I got out a small Tupperware and handed it to her. Her fingers brushed against mine as she took the container from my hands. I could feel my face flush at her touch. Fuck, this can't be happening.

"So...what do you do for a living?" She asked curiously. Uh oh. "I..." think, Hyunjin, think. "I...work for a dance company." I half lied. "Oh wow! That's interesting. What company?" Damnit. I didn't really prepare for all these questions.

"Oh! Uh...it's called... PYJ Entertainment." I lied. Dumbass, there's no way she's gonna believe that. "Hm, I've never heard of it, that sounds fun though. So you're a professional dancer? That's awesome." She smiled at me, piercing me with those dark green eyes. "Y-yeah, haha. I enjoy it." What was happening? Did she really not know...?

She finished packing up her fruits and gently placed the container over the lid. At this point it was already 11:34, and I was getting hungry. I would ask her if she wanted to grab lunch, but I didn't want come across too strong. I felt as though I had done that already.

"Thank you for this, really you didn't have to do such a big gesture." She smiled. I could tell she was appreciative, as her gaze felt warmer than usual. I think she was getting more comfortable with me. Shit...what was I doing?

"It's no problem at all. Let me walk you home." I offered. She gave a small nod along with a closed lip smile. We walked out the door and took the elevator downstairs.

Nothing could prepare me for the sight that awaited me.

Damnit.

I fucked up.
