"Ochako, look! I got myself a tattoo," Momo exclaimed, showing her forearm. Ochako examines Momo's left forearm and sees how beautiful and colorful the tattoo is, then compliments, "Wow, it's beautiful. I like it, Momo." Momo smiled and asked, "Well, aren't you going to ask me where I did my tattoo?" Ochako shook her head and shrugged her shoulders as she clutched her books. "I'll admit that I like your tattoo but I don't think tattoos suit me very well, Momo," Ochako mumbled, feeling a bit insecure.
Ochako never tries anything new so she lacks self-confidence. Momo would suggest Ochako try something new but she would always refuse. "Ochako, sometimes you need to take a leap. You know, throw caution out the window. Plus, there are a lot of things that suit you and I think a tattoo will suit you very well. And who knows maybe you'll get a boyfriend," Momo spoke up, placing a hand on Ochako's shoulder. She stutters, "B-but I rarely go out! I-I'm not interesting enough to get a b-boyfriend!"
"Excuse me? Not interesting? I found you interesting the moment we first met."
"H-how so?"
"Well, you're caring, cheerful yet shy, and nice. Your personality isn't fake which is refreshing to me. And you can make people around you extremely comfortable. Plus, you're pretty cute."
"S-shut up! Wouldn't guys want a hot and mature girl?"
"There's at least one crazy guy who would like you for who you are."
Suddenly, the bell rings signaling that it's time to head to the next class. Ochako took Momo's hand and said, "It's time to go to our next class, Momo. I'll see you at the dorm later." Ochako waves at Momo as she walks away. Momo stood there watching her figure disappear in the distance. She feels bad for Ochako since she's always in her little shell. Momo wants to help her to be a bit more confident. That's when she thought of a brilliant idea to help Ochako.
During the lecture, Ochako couldn't stop thinking about Momo's tattoo. The tattoo's design has a quote and a butterfly which also looks like the colors splashed over Momo's forearm. It looks interesting and unique, which makes Ochako want to know where Momo had her tattoo done. "Uraraka, I hope you're paying attention to the lesson instead of daydreaming," the modern literature teacher, Mr. Ishiyama warned, catching Ochako's attention. She apologizes, "I-I'm sorry! Don't worry, sir! I'm taking notes of your lesson!"
Mr. Ishiyama nodded his head and smiled at her then continued with the lesson. Ochako starts writing notes as Mr. Ishiyama talks about "The Great Gatsby" until the bell rings signaling that class is over. The students started heading out when Mr. Ishiyama yelled, "Start reading or watching 'The Great Gatsby' whichever one works! Write a report and it's due next class!" Ochako walked out of the class and saw Momo waiting for her which made Ochako want to question Momo.
"Momo, what are you doing here?" Ochako asked, heading over to her. She replies, "Well, I was waiting for you and since classes are over then we can go shopping! You know, get you some new outfits!" Ochako was going to refuse but Momo started dragging her out of the building and shoved Ochako into a car. Momo slid in next to Ochako and patted the driver to start driving while Ochako looked around the car. Ochako grabbed Momo and protested, "Momo, turn the car around! I don't have the money to go shopping!"
"Don't worry about that, Ochako! I'm buying everything for you! It's one of the perks of having a rich best friend."
"But, I don't want you buying me things. I'm content with just being your best friend, Momo."
"Aww, that's sweet, Ochako. But I want to buy you things."
"Why, Momo?"
"I want to help you try new things and boost your confidence. Please, Ochako?"
