That evening had turned into one of everyone just taking over Bakugou and Kirishima's living room. The TV just played kid shows to keep Hatori occupied while Sakaki and Sasara sat together on the couch. Sasara went back and forth between scenting her best friend and her boyfriend who also sat with the two women on the couch. Though it seemed the pale haired woman was still too scared to try such an intimate act with Bakugou who sat in his arm chair just watching over his idiots as everyone relaxed after having filled their bellies with his great cooking.

It was an interesting sight, or at least for Sakaki it was. Watching a kid sit in the middle of Bakugou's living room drawing or watching tv while everyone was just idly chatting or relaxing was one her younger self would never have expected to see. If back in UA someone told her one day she would be sitting with two of her fellow students she avoided like the plague, one more so than the other, just relaxing and enjoying every moment she may never have believed them. To think she would ever get along with Bakugou Katsuki she never would have believed it. And yet as she picked her eyes up off of Hatori as Sasara scooped him up to take him for a bath before bed, she looked over at Bakugou to see him watching the woman walk off with her son in hand.

"Do you two ever wonder what your life would be like if you never became heroes?" She had asked softly as she watched till Sasara disappeared into the bathroom.

"Huh of course not. I always knew I'd be a hero. And never wanted anything else," Bakugou had said with a huff.

"I have," Kirishima admitted, which drew both sets of eyes to look over at him.

"I wonder about it a bit. I wonder if me and Mina would have worked out if one of us stopped being a hero, but then I don't think either of us would ever stop. But what if I just never went to UA? Would I have a family? work some menial job? I always have those what if thoughts from time to time," The large redhead admitted his internal thoughts out loud as they could all hear the water running in the bathroom.

"I'm sure most of us do. Bakugou is the odd one who doesn't," Sakaki teased to which earned her a few words as the blonde yelled at her. And in return the dark haired woman just laughed lightly at the blonde.

The personal and slightly heavy question was apparently forgotten after that as the two started to bicker and bug one another. Leaving poor Kirishima stuck in the middle as he watched his two dear friends yell at one another over what quickly became rather random things. Some days he wondered if the two idiots just enjoyed riling each other up for the hell of it. At least he was saved once Sasara returned with a drowsy Hatori who looked ready for bed. Luckily for all that had the bickering stop as Sakaki and Bakugou listened to Kirishima insisting that Sasara and Hatori take his bed while he would take the couch.

Wow that was incredibly nice of the redhead in Sakaki's mind, after all there was no way sleeping on the couch would be comfortable especially since she didn't think all of him would fit. Listening to Sasara say that they couldn't possibly take his bed was more than Sakaki needed to hear. And before she said something not friendly for childish ears even if he was half asleep in his mothers arms Sakaki chose that moment to stand up and stretch a little as she let out her own yawn.

"Where the hell are you going?" Bakugou had asked almost the second she stepped away from the couch.

"To bed. If your stupid five am alarm is going to wake me up again I am heading to bed early," she said as she started towards the bedrooms even as she heard Bakugou jump to his feet and start to chase after her.

"Huh!" It seemed he was surprised by her desire to go to bed rather close to his desired bedtime rather than her own. In honesty, even with their mid day nap she still felt exhausted physically and mentally.
