CHAPTER 1 MEETING SARAH
It was on Saturday morning 90 degrees outside; I was in the car with my mother, Tammy. The wind from driving in the car blew in my short, spiky hair everywhere, as we drove to Hot Topics. When we got there I was complaining to my mother why I couldn't wear big hoop earrings like all my friends.
"Maria we are not having this discussion again, I said no and that's final," Mother yelled at me.
"I hate you. You are the worse mother ever," I yelled back.
I went to go and put the earring back. But when I was looking threw the other smaller earrings I happen to see something called 'INVISIBLE VAMPIRE FANGS'
As many times I have read Vampire book and seen movies I knew vampires weren't real; so how this could be possible.
"Oh my gosh," some random girl came up to me taking the package out my hand "this is so cool."
''Who are you,'' I asked as the girl was reading the label.
''Oh I'm sorry I'm Sarah Johnson, and you are?"
''I'm Maria, if you don't mind me asking but what would you unparticular need that for?'' I asked eyeing the vampire package.
''Well you see, but you mustn't tell anyone because if you do I would have to kill you, and I'm sure no one wants that. I'm a vampire obviously and then if I wear these 'InvisibleVampire Fangs' no one will see my fangs."Sarah told me holding up the package.
''Oh well that's pretty cool I guess, if you're a real vampire. You know what? Prove to me that you're a true vamp."I told Sarah.
Sarah turned her head to see if anyone was watching; when no one was in sight she climbed the stores wall then flipped down for the ceiling. It was so cool.
"Believe me now?"She asked with a smirk on her face.
I giggled "Yeah; that was sick" I wished I could do that.
"It's a talent."She joined in my laughter.
"Ria" My mother called after me.
"That my cue to leave. Well it was very nice meeting you Miss. Sarah and I hope to see you soon."I excused myself.
"Same here Miss.Maria."We both burst out in laughter.
"Don't worry about the whole Vampire thing I keep good on my promises about on not telling anyone anything." I whispered to her before I walked away.
Best summer break ever; I thought to myself. I just meet a vampire who could climb off a wall and flip down from a ceiling, now that was the sickest, most coolest thing that had ever happened in the history of the world to a random human. I wonder if she really is a vampire or was I just on some lame Got You type show.
After me and mother left Hot Topics; and went home, I searched up Sarah Johnson. And I had spotted an obituary for a Sarah Johnson that lived 95 years ago. I seen a picture on how she looked; and the girl I had seen today looked just like her. Just my luck I meet someone who could kill me while polishing her nails.
"Maria," Mother called me down for dinner.
"Coming mother," I yelled as I erased what I had searched, closed the tab, turned off my laptop and ran down the stairs where my mother and sister waited for me.
When we were all seated I knew mother was going to say something about Sarah.
"So Maria what were you and that girl at the store talking about? Did you know her or something?" Am I psychic or what?
"Her name is Sarah and no I didn't know her, she was just telling me about this book."My sister Ashley coughed geek.
I kicked her under the table.
"OW." She yelled and kicked me back so I slapped her in the face.
"Girls," My mom yelled. "Stop this instant or your both grounded." Me and Ashley stop eminently fast. Then Ashley stuck her tongue out at me so I spited on her food.
"That's it your both grounded; kiss your cell phones goodbye for a week.
"But mom, it wasn't y fought." I stomped out of the dining room.
"Ha ha that's why you got in trouble," Ashley said teasing me.
"Ashley that's two weeks for you."My mother said.
