✓ Warm Winter [Yeonbin]

𝟮𝟮. 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Yeonjun entered his apartment and without thinking anything, he threw the bag pack he was holding on the floor feeling frustrated and so damn nauseous.

That scene of the blonde kissing his ex kept on haunting him for some reason.

His eyes were burning up from the tears wanting to come out from his eyes. He doesn't know if he should feel like this or not. Yeonjun let out the loudest scream ever as he felt something was stuck inside him. Those unwanted feelings.

This always ruin everything.

Emotions are such a bitch. He hates them so much.

Yeonjun plopped down on the floor tears continuously trickling down his face, as his breathe became uneven, body shaking uncontrollably.

Is he even allowed to feel like this?

This feels so wrong.

That blonde male doesn't even have the simplest idea about this condition of Yeonjun.

Yeonjun couldn't help but realize that he actually liked Soobin more than be thought so, or else it wouldn't have stinged so much.

He felt like someone stab him in his stomach and chest at the same time.

He could physically feel the burning and aching sensation inside his ribcage. That's not fair.

Yeonjun was exhausted mentally now, he somehow dragged his body and went to his own room upstairs. Soobin on the other entered the house which unusually felt quite. Because most of the time, Yeonjun might be doing something that will cause some sounds and give away his presence.

But now it was scary that how much quite it felt.

"Yeonjun hyung?"

No response.

Soobin felt a bit anxious for some reason and again called the older-

"Hyung? Are you there?"

Silence.

The blonde was now completely confused. He immediately ran towards the older's room and thankfully it was open, entering it slowly, he saw a figure lying in the bed covered up with comfortable and his black locks peeking through the gap.

"Hyung?" Soobin called after be heard the older shuffle a bit. Removing the comforter a little bit, he saw the actor's exhausted state.

Puffy eyes?

Those cheeks also looked stained for some reason?

♪ There I was again tonight, forcing laughter, faking smiles...

Same old tired lonely place... ♪

Soobin felt his heart ache at the sight. He ruffled the hair of the sleeping male, eyes adorned with love and affection. Fingers caressing the soft skin of the actor specially where the cheeks looked stained probably from tears.

"Hyung are you okay?" The blonde mumbled to himself observing the fainted looking male. He couldn't pinpoint the reason of feeling a bit ache inside his chest seeing the older.

Sure the older was sleeping thankfully despite his insomnia-

WAIT- INSOMNIA??? THEN HOW IS HE SLEEPING?

♪ The lingering question kept me up..

2 am, who do you love

I wonder till I am wide awake ♪

Soobin's mind suddenly caught this fact causing him to panic that how the older was sleeping like this. No wonder why he appeared so pale and looked like he fainted.

"Hyung? Are you there? Hyung?" Soobin said shaking Yeonjun with his heart beating so fast in fear.

But no response, the older didn't even budge.

Soobin felt his body shaking now, hands and legs trembling terribly.

"HYUNG!! Can you hear me?? H-Hyungg!" The blonde was near to experience a panic attack. His heart thumping up and down thinking about all the possible negative thoughts. But, in vain he didn't get any response from the older. He immediately ran downstairs to get some water and rushed back there sprinkling some drops of water in the older's face. After the water touched the other's face, within a few seconds, Yeonjun was seen scrunching his face by the sudden wetness of his face.

Soobin felt like the whole world's relief washed over him when he saw the older move. The corner of Soobin's eyes were a bit wet from the tears gathering up a little from the extreme fear he felt. Yeonjun's mind went blank when the first thing he saw after waking up is the blonde's face.

Soobin didn't waste any second and pulled the older in a bone crashing hug feeling so damn scared from earlier. Yeonjun felt warm at the sudden hug he got but he couldn't enjoy the moment as his evil brain kept on bugging him about the scene he saw earlier.

"Hyung did you know how much scared I got?" Yeonjun heard the blonde's muffled voice as he was still hugging him. His heart started acting up again.

No he has some one in his heart.

No Yeonjun. You better behave.

'Also did I faint? I didn't even realize.' Yeonjun thought to himself. Soobin pulled away from the hug but now both of them had very minimum amount of distance between their face as they were sitting face to face now. Yeonjun felt his face burning up as the younger maintained a strict eye contact with him. Only for him to get startled as the blonde cupped his cheeks making his inner go feral.

"I am sorry I wasn't with you. I will remind myself about this from the next time. Okay?" Yeonjun heard the statement in the lowest and softest voice possible from such minimum proximity. He wanted to do so much more.

But he can't.

He knew his limits.

This was the very first page, not where the storyline ends....

These are the words I held back as I was leaving too soon... ♪

The eye contact lasted longer than they intended as the world around the two of them blurred out admiring each other without their consciousness. Yeonjun now realized something.

He fell way deeper in this well of feelings than he thought.

He could only pray that somehow the latter would return those emotions he felt continuously for him.

♪ I was enchanted to meet you...

Please don't be in love with someone else..

Please don't have somebody waiting up for you... ♪

Yeonjun now wished that it would have been less suffocating if he didn't fall in this storm of emotions.

Deep inside he already saw and knew that he won't have a happy ending of his own.

But maybe, the things you hear and even see by your own eyes is not the real truth. It's just the cloaked version.

That's why some wise person said -

'Don't believe anything you hear, and the thing you see by your eyes is the half truth.'

No lie in the line though.

If Yeonjun knew this before, it would have been a bit bearing for him.
