CHARLOTTE'S POV
Yesterday after the little spider incident, James had the exterminators come. There were hundreds of little bugs all up in their attic.
James blacked out for a while but soon woke up. He had a major head ache but its gone this morning.
Im in the kitchen, cooking breakfast.
"Hey wazzup?" James comes in from the living room. He's rubbing his head to make sure there arent any spiders. He's been doing that ever since yesterday.
"Hey. Im makin' breakfast. Wan any?" I ask as i reach for a bowl in the cabinet.
"I thought you didnt know how to cook." He says, tilting his head to the side. I hold up a Lucky Charms cereal box.
"I know how to cook cereol." I smile cheekily. He just shakes his head and laughs.
"Yeah sure. Thanks." He says as i hand him a bowl full of cereal. He pours the milk on and takes a bite.
"Yum. Good. You're a natural born cook." He jokes. I laugh.
"Oohhh...... Wait!" I say, leaping out of my chair at the counter and running over to the fridge. I pull out chocolate syrup and run back to my chair.
James raises an eye brow. "Really?" He asks.
"Ya. Gourmet cereal." I laugh as i pour it over the milk and cereal in my bowl. James just rolls his eyes and continues to eat his cereal. That boy dont know what he's missing.
"Hey guys!" Sarah waves as she enter the kitchen. Me and James say hi. She grabs an apple and takes a bite. Must be on a diet. I hate diets.
"Sis are you on a diet again?" James asks, sounding really annoyed.
"Yeah. Nick wants me to. He says im getting fat." She says, continuing to eat her apple.
"What a jerk. You're not getting fat." James says, rolling his eyes.
"He's not a jerk. We've been going out for 5 months now and i certainly know that he is not a jerk." She says angrily.
"Then why dont you let me meet him?" James asks, tilting his head to the side.
"Uggghhhh....." His sister complains. "Fine. But you better not embarrass me. Or him!" She gripes. "I'll see if he can come over after work." She says. And with that she grabs her purse and keys and heads out the back door.
ØØØØØØØØØØØØØØØØØØ
I hear the front door open from my spot on the couch. Sarah walks in.
"Hey Charlotte. You seen James?" She asks.
"Yeah. He said he had some hockey practice to go to." I say.
"Oh. Well i brought my boyfriend. Can you meet him at least? Cause then you can see that he's not a jerk and tell James." She asks with her puppy fog face. I nod my head.
"Yeah sure." I say. She cheers and disappears in the hallway. I get up off of the couch and limp over to the dining room.
"Okay. So Charlotte, this is Nick. Nick, Charlotte." Sarah says once i enter the room. My eyes go wide when i see my ex boyfriend in the same house as me.
Sarah must have noticed both of our eyes going wide of shock. "Wait, do you guys know each other?" She asks.
Pssshhh..... Hell yes we do! "Umm..... Yeah. Sort of." I say.
"Oh. Then thats even better." She says happily, clapping her hands together.
"Its actually not." I say angrily.
"Why not?" She asks with confusion clear on her face.
"Oh. Its just....." Nick starts but i cut him off.
"Its just because James was right. He is a jerk. And you're my friend Sarah, so i recommend you stay away from him." I spit out. Sarah looks hurt and very confused at what i just said.
"But..... Why?" She asks.
"Let him tell you. Im sure you'd be happy too. Right...... 'Nick.' I spit and run up stairs. Well more like walking with a limp as fast as i can.
I cant believe he was cheating on me. And he let her call him Nick! That gives me even more a reason yo hate him
