Chapter 1

I was woken up by the smell of pancakes coming from the kitchen. I slowly opened my eyes getting out of bed ,I quickly put my hair in a low messy ponytail and wore my slippers as I closed the door behind me heading downstairs ready to start my day.

"Hey mom,"I said approaching her
"Goodmorning Y/N,ready for your 6th year?"she said handing me a plate full of pancakes and a glass of fresh orange juice. "More than ready.I missed everyone so much."

"I'm sure you missed a certain redhead a little bit more."she said with a smirk on her face wriggling her eyebrows. I almost chocked on my food hearing those words coming out of her mouth .

My mom always thought  that something was going on between me and Fred even though we are just friends.Me and the twins knew each other since day one ,because our moms were childhood best friend so we hang out pretty often even before we went to Hogwarts.

"Mom stop" I said covering my face in my hands knowing that I was blushing mad. She chuckled in my stupid behavior before standing up to grab the mail that had just arrived.

"Y/N"she called from the living room "yes?"I said mouth full of food."I won't be able to take you to to the train station .I was just informed that I have to go to work for an emergency, you'll have to take the taxi unfortunately "she said in a guilty way.

Growing up as a half blood I knew what a taxi is and how to use it so I didn't have any problem with it. After I finished my breakfast I went upstairs to my room so I could start getting ready.

I've had already packed my trunk last night so I just had to dress. I brushed my teeth, did my skin care ,put on some lip gloss and mascara and curled my hair. I picked a pair of ripped jeans with a cute red crop top ,I then  finished my outfit with a cute necklace some silver rings and my red converse.

I looked in the mirror admiring myself. I've changed a lot over the summer to be honest ,my body has grown a lot,my curves were a lot more visible than before and my acne was finally gone, after all these years.

This was my first summer that I didn't spend it with the twins so they will now see me after 3 whole months. I knew that my appearance will surprise them ,I deep down wished that now Fred will finally see me as something more than just his girl best friend but I still wasn't ready to confess that to myself.

I exited the taxi and slowly started walking through the crowded King's cross station with Mars cage and my suitcase in my hands .

Mars was my black cat, my mom, had bought  it for me when I got my letter for Hogwarts. I was so excited ,when I first saw her I knew that we had some  type of connection. I have spent nights  and nights talking to her about my problems,she is always with me and the twins when we pull our pranks ,they love her as much as I do.

And here I am standing in the middle of platform 9 and platform 10 ready to start my 6th year ,I took a big breath closed my eyes and started running through the wall. And then it hit me, the familiar scent of Hogwarts Express. I slowly opened my eyes seeing kids and parents saying their goodbyes to each other.

I looked around searching for my friends but there were nowhere to be seen so I just entered  the train.As I was walking through  the compartments I spotted two tall  identical redhead twins. I started running towards them unable to hold my excitement.

"Fred,George" I shouted. They both quickly turned their heads in my direction,with two big smiles on their faces I started running even faster getting closer and closer to my dear ,crazy best friends.

I soon as I reached them I hugged George first, feeling happy seeing him after such a long time . I then hugged Fred the scent of fireworks and cinnamon hitting my nose . The hug we shared was way longer than the one with George we slowly pulled away staring into each other's eyes.

"Ahem ,lovebirds"we both turned around seeing George smirking at us."oh shut up "we both said in unison. I swear just for a moment I saw the slightest blush on Fred's cheeks but I pushed that thought  away not thinking much of it .

I took a few steps backwards getting the chance to actually take a better look at them .They had grown a lot taller ,a lot taller that me .Their hair was also way longer than last year, it suit them to be honest especially Fred .

"Wow Y/N you changed,a lot"Fred said eyeing me."Thank you ,I replied,you also changed a lot ,I like the new hairstyle"I said giggling.

"Really? George asked surprised ,mom hates it ,she says that as soon as we go home she will cut them"i laughed at the thought of Mrs. Weasly chasing them around the house in order to cut their hair.

We found an empty compartment and sat down .I took a sit next to Fred as George took Mars out of my hands. "Oh hey little one ,I missed you so much"he said holding her close.

"Hey you didn't hug me like that "I joked."yes because you were to busy talking to Fred"he said with a smirk as he saw me blush."oh shove off"Fred replied throwing his jacket at his brother's face,that just laughed.

After a few minutes of just chatting Lee entered the compartment. "Lee" I said excited to see my friend. I stood up and hugged him tightly "I missed you" I said in his arms."I missed you toο little one"he said looking down at me,because of our high difference.

"what's wrong with you three and that nickname"I said looking at all of them ."It suits you ,because you are short"George simply replied."I'm not short you are just giants"I argued back.

"Elf"I heard Fred muttered. "I heard that"I said annoyed ."my elf though"he replied putting his hand around my waist,which brought butterflies to my stomach.I just smiled at him trying to hide my blush.

Fortunately Angelina, Katie and Alicia entered the  compartment. "Oh my God, I missed you "I said standing up to embrace them."we missed you toο"they all said.After we finished greeting each other we all sat down ,me ,Fred and Alicia and George Lee ,Katie and Angelina opposite of us.

We started talking about random staff I was looking outside the window not really talking part in the conversation. I slowly started drifting to sleep and closed my eyes.

"Y/N love ,wake up ,we're almost there."I slowly opened my eyes seeing Fred stroking my cheek with his thumb. "Did I fall asleep"I questioned stretching my arms."Yes ,but don't worry you still have time to change into your robe"he said helping me to stand up from my seat.

"Thank you for waking me up" "you don't have to thank me love"he replied at me and winked.I felt my cheeks burn up from the nickname but I ignored it,getting out of the compartment to change.

After I got out of the bathroom you went and sat next to Fred once again. "Soo...what's going on between you too"Angelina asked looking at between me and Fred.

"Nothing is going on what are you talking about"he replied confused."oh please"Angelina said with a smirk on her face. Fortunately the train stopped before things could get more awkward.

Me and Fred stood up quickly to leave but before we could exit the train Angelina said"not so fast ,you two will answer my questions when we'll get in the  common room".

"Sorry about that"Fred whispered in my ear ."why are you apologizing its not your fault."I laughed."hold my hand?"he asked .without thinking twice I connected my hand with his while walking towards the castle.
