It was early morning on September 1, 1991. The summer heat was ghastly, with soaring temperatures in the last three months, but then suddenly the heat wave dissipated and the weather cooled down with a nice warm breeze. Inside the Cromwell manor, Enadira was already awake in her room, waiting to hear the soft knock that was about to happen from one of the servants in the manor. As she lay in bed, she couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe it when she noticed her acceptance letter to Hogwarts on her nightstand beside her bed.

Today she had to get ready, eat breakfast with her grandmother, go to Diagon Alley, and then depart for the Hogwarts Express. While Enadira was in deep thought, she heard the delicate knock outside her door: "Lady Cromwell, time to rise." The servant opened the door and entered. "Well, it would seem you are awake, Lady Cromwell," she said. Enadira rose up from her bed and nodded, "Yes, thank you, Ms. Ivy." Enadira removed the sheets from her body and began to get out of bed while Ms. Ivy handed her slippers. "Thank you," Enadira said as she put her slippers on and began to walk inside her bathroom to take a morning shower, while Ms. Ivy stood by the door just in case Enadira needed anything. Enadira finished her shower and opened the door.

As she did and eyed her room, she noticed Ms. Ivy wasn't inside. "I wonder where did she go?" Enadira thought, but before she could remove her robe, Ms. Ivy returned. "I have your outfit ready for today, Lady Cromwell; it belonged to the previous lady Cromwell," she said, and she put the black robe gently on Enadira's bed. Enadira walked toward her bed and touched the black robe gently. "This belonged to my mother; she wore this before her house was chosen?" she asked Ms. Ivy, who nodded. "I will pack your bags for Hogwarts while you go change into your robes," Ms. Ivy said, heading toward the closet.

"Oh, I already packed myself," Enadira said while she grabbed her robes and changed behind her room divider. Ms. Ivy stopped in her tracks and turned around. "Lady Cromwell, you know I was supposed to do that," she said to her. Enadira slowly peeked out of the room divider and gave a small smile. "I knew, but I had to do it myself," she said, revealing her black robes beneath a white collared Oxford shirt, a black tie with all four houses, a grey jumper with a grey skirt, and knee socks with her black Converse. "Ivy, you know how I feel when you help too much; I like to do things myself," Enadira said. Ms. Ivy admires Enadira's outfit and sighs in defeat. "You're too much like your mother; at least let me do your hair," she says to her. Enadira nodded.

As Ms. Ivy walks across the hallway with Enadira and slowly walks down the stairs, Enadira can already smell the breakfast coming from inside the dining room. Ms. Ivy opens the door for Enadira as she walks in, opens the chair for her, and sits down. Enadira is sitting across the table from her grandmother, who is already sipping her morning tea. "Good morning, Enadira," grandmother Rosalind said. "Good morning, grandmother," she said. Another servant served Enadira eggs and bacon, along with peach tea.

"Today is the day we shall go to Diagon Alley; your school books have already been collected," grandmother Rosalind said while taking a sip of her tea while Enadira was eating her breakfast and sipping her peach tea. "The only thing you need from your equipment is your wand and owl," she said. "And then you take me to the Hogwarts Express after we collect everything?"Enadira had finished her small breakfast and was finishing her tea. Enadira asked her grandmother. "Yes, dear," she said, checking her pocket watch for the time, "it's 8:30," and snapping her fingers for the servants to assist them with the cleanup. Enadira and her grandmother walked out of the dining room and went straight to the living room.

"Floo powder, Ivy," the grandmother said, and Ms. Ivy came with the powder. Grandmother Rosalind looked at Enadira. "Do you remember how floo powder works?" she asked her. "Yes, grandmother," Enadira replied, grabbing a small amount like her grandmother and saying, "Diagon Alley!" while both poofing into green flames. Enadira and her grandmother were no longer at Cromwell Manor, but in Diagon Alley. Many witches or wizards were walking and entering different shops, collecting from others; it all made Enadira amazed.
