Special Romance

Chapter 1

Kieran's POV:

I stare intensely at the building as I use my power on the rats that infested the building. Guys come out screaming as the rats attack them.

   I smirk feeling a hand pat my back. "Good job, kid. Let's go take care of this Hydra base," Uncle Cap says smiling at me and I nod while holding onto his arm then fly down the small mountain towards the base.

   I let him go and he does a tumble on the ground then used his shield to slam against a group of soldiers.

I land on my feet and blow wind at a group of Hydra soldiers making them all fly back. I so wish I had some fighting music right now.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y play mine and dad's playlist," I say dodging a fist aiming for my head and palm his chest making the soldier fly back.

   "As you wish, Kieran," She responds and soon Another One Bites The Dust starts playing in my ears.

Oh hell yeah. I spin on my heel slamming my boot into another soldier's face but also being mindful of my super strength.

  I could possibly kill someone if I used my full strength. That's something I don't want happening. "And another one gone and another one gone. Another one bites the dust," I sing happily flipping a bad guy on his back.

Then I sped around giving a few wedgies in the process as I bring them to their knees. I hold onto my suit pants and moonwalk as I continue to sing the rest of the song. Something hitting me in the head made me stop in my tracks.

  I look down seeing a smashed bullet and I fly up towards the roof where a sniper is. This dude just shot me.

He backs up and raised his weapon then begins firing at me. The bullets just bounce off of me. Stupid.

"You know it's getting real pathetic watching you guys shoot me and nothing happens," I quip flying closer and knock the gun out of his hands.

  He pulls out his knife and plunged it at my abdomen. It bends on impact and I roll my eyes while grabbing ahold of him then flew up high.

"Hey what's your workout plan? You're ripped, dude," I ask tilting my head and all he does is whimper loudly while holding onto my arm.

I frown slightly and watch his wide eyes look down fearfully then it finally clicks. "Oh you're afraid of height?" I state and he nods quickly while swallowing nervously.

I fly down and set us on our feet. He leans on his knees while breathing heavily. "You're alright. Breathe in and out," I pat his back as he takes my advice.

He straightens up and nods at me. "Better?" I ask and he nods then I nod with a false smile before I palm his chest making him fly back against the building, knocking him out in the process.

How are you afraid of heights when you were on the roof? Sounds dumb to be honest. They never learn. "Shut down the power, kid," Uncle Steve orders out and I press my hand on the building then breathe in and out before taking out the electricity.

When I always take out electricity I feel empowered or juiced up with so much energy. I remove my hand and give a thumbs up to Uncle Steve who nods.

   "Since we got them all knocked out let's tie them up so SHIELD can come and collect them," Uncle Steve says and I nod while speeding around putting strong zip ties on the bad guys wrist to keep them secured.

A distant scream of terror made me turn my head in the direction it came from. This base is deep into the woods so who would be out here besides Hydra?
