NEW STORY!! I'm trying to reac out and try to do multiple things in multiple areas of creativety soo if i ever have writers block, which is often or when my friend liz has writers block, which is waaaay to often then i can just switch stories!! :D soooooo Have fun you little people things, BTW in the U.S.A. there is a movie coming out on May 11 of this YEAR. Walking along the shore, I enjoyed the wind flowing freely through my long, crimson red hair. The sand curling in between my toes. My skin is a natural tan, not to pale. My eyes are a teal blue kinda turqouise-ish. I'm Short, only reaching to about 5'3. But my main love, is the ocean. My mother always told me I was part fish, cause only fish could stay in the water as long as me, I always thought that I just had a connection with the gentle waves, carresing the golden sand. Then when I was 11 my mother dissapeared, it's been 5 years now. Today is my 16th birthday.
I live on my own, with my bestest friend in the WHOLE IDE WORLD! Her name is Kida Maverick. Shes beautiful, snow white hair, golden eyes, but we're both short only shes 5'4 ironic much? And NOOO I AMNOT A LESBIAN (no offense to any lesbians out there!) So back to where I was, After my mom dissapeared, I left to live with Kida, shes 16 1/2.
Now it was only 6:00 in the morning, I always like to watch the sun rise over the ocean. Everything turns to shades of orange and red. When I woke up this morning, I jsut felt like I had to see the ocean. I've never seen Kida step one foot within water, so I just chill by myself.
Throwing off my shorts and Tank top, leaving me in my rainbow checkered bathing suit. Letting the waves lick at my feet, I walked deeper in the water. Once I got deep enough, I dived under. Suddenly this warm tingling started at my head, working down my neck, over my shoulders and my stomach, down my arms and my legs, all the way to the tip of my toes. I closed my eyes enjoying the warm sensation.
When the tingling stopped, I opened my eyes and gasped at what I saw. There right in front of me was an ice blue tail. Moving around wildly, I didn't know what to do! Which way was the surface! -OW! something just wacked me, turning my head I saw a dolphin looking at me curiously. It did it's little squeaky thing, flipped it's tail and squeaked again. I think it wanted me to follow it.
It occured to me just how long I had been under the water.....with no air...,but it wasnt effecting me. Testing my theroy I took a breath under the water.....nothin...thats what happened, it was just like how it would have been if I was above water. Feeling giddy I motioned for the dolphin to come towards me. It squeaked happily and came close so I could grab his fin. Now time to see if I could talk under water.
"Hi" I said, or at least thats what I hoped it came out as. The dolphin looked about ready to burst with joy. Hmmm...Joy...hehe BING! Hear that? That's the lightbulb going off in my head.
"I think i'm going to call you Joy" It squeaked at me full of happiness. I grabbed onto her finn. How I knew it was a girl escaped me, I just knew. She started swimming further out to sea. I watched closely and copied her movements with her tail. After just cruiseing around, I was able to let go and swim without fully relying on the help of Joy.
"Joy" I said "I think it's time we head back don'tcha think?"
We had been swiming for a few hours now, It was around lunch time, Kida would be worried sick. Joy squeaked her agreement while I giggled at the sound. This time I was able to hold my own on the way back. A purple shape appeared in the distance. Thinking of it as a threat, I swam down further to the ocean floor and ducked behind a rock.
"Joy!" I whisper/yelled Trying to hold back my laugh as she started swimming in cirlces not knowing what to do. The purple was getting closer, it looked like it had some wite flowing behind it. Looking behind me I started grabbing my red hair that was floating all around me not wanting to give away my position. Holding all my hair in a bundle, I realized the figure had stopped. It was a woman, with a tail just like me but hers was purple...and she had white hair...she kept looking around wildly like she was searching for something. She looked about my age, maybe older. Then it hit me, That was Kida.
