i wake up to the smell of brownies.
it's 2 in the afternoon.
i walk in the kitchen half awake.
me"what's cooking?" I rub my eyes
ella"good afternoon sleepy head." She pulls the brownies out of the oven
"i made brownies." She smiles
me"where's Dave?" I look around
ella"he had to go grab some milk from the store. i can never eat brownies without some milk."
she picks up an oven mitt.
me"don't use that mitt please, it's only for me."
ella"Dave said i could." She looks confused
Dave finna get fucked up.
me"oh he did?" I snicker
ella"yea, is something wrong?" She looks nervous

i go back in my room to get dressed for the day.

me"yo." I walk in the kitchen
ella"wassup bro." She daps me up
me"oou them brownies looking good." I grab one
ella"warm it up, it's been sitting."
me"don't mind if i do." I put it in the microwave
"where Ariana?"
ella"she left not too long."
me"she ain't tell you where she was going?"
ella"nah." She acts unbothered

i needed to leave that damn house.
Dave can go parlay with Ella, i'm on my way to my mama house.
