Jungkook ringed the bell as he heard loud soft music coming from apartment. The door opened revealing Minyeong.

"Hi! Everyone's waiting for you. Come inside!" She said with a big smile, waving for Jungkook to come inside as she walked deeper inside the cozy looking apartment.

Jungkook nodded as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him as he took oh his shoes as his coat.

He walked through the hall to the big living room where people were sitting on the couch, talking. There was a lot of food on the table which made Jungkook smile.

So he didn't lie...

"Hi Jungkook! You've arrived!" The voice broke his thoughts as he saw Jimin walking towards him with a big smile.

"Hi! I'm sorry I'm late. I kinda got lost but in the end I found it."  They both chuckled.

"Oh, this is for you. As your guest I thought it'll be rude to come without bringing something small for you." Jungkook handed a small box to Jimin who smiled at thanked him.

"Thank you. What is it?" Jimin opened the box with a curious chuckle.

"Oh Jungkook, that's so beautiful." Jimin let out a whisper, staring at the gift.

It was a keychain in shape of light blue crystal snowflake. Jungkook nervously rubbed his nape.

"Do you like it?" Younger asked, waiting for Jimin's answer.

"Yes, very much. Thank you." Jimin smiled widely and Jungkook let out a relieved sigh.

"Please make yourself home. Would you like something to drink?" Jimin asked and guided younger to the couch.

"No thank you. Maybe later." Jungkook smiled at older and greeted everyone that were seated around the small table.

Others were throwing questions at younger, asking him about his career and even about his personal life. Although Jungkook wasn't really comfortable at the start, he soon enough he joked with others and had really great time.

He was occasionally glancing at young teacher who was laughing adorably when someone said not really funny joke.

Jungkook didn't even realized that he was staring at older. Then their eyes linked and younger quickly looked away, light blush appearing on his cheeks.

Jimin chuckled at younger's reaction and poured their glasses with alcohol, giving them to everyone. They cheered loudly even though it wasn't midnight yet.

After few more drinks everyone was tipsy, either dancing at the music or stuffing their stomach with a food.

Jungkook was just sitting there, looking kinda lost. He didn't want to dance right now and his stomach was already full from delicious food that Jimin prepared.

Suddenly his phone was ringing, he looked at the number and walked away to answer the call.

"Hello?" He said after locking himself in the bathroom.

"Hello Jungkook! How are you enjoying your time off?" His manager's voice asked from a phone.

"Well, I can't complain. What about you? Why are you calling?" Jungkook asked as he sat down on the bath.

"I just wanted to wish you happy New year. Are you also celebrating it with you parents this year?"

"Ah no. I'm celebrating with friends."

"Oh really? Well then enjoy and be careful. I'll call you another day to talk about upcoming projects."

"Thank you. Say hi to your wife for me."

"Yeah, bye."

Jungkook hug up, walking towards the door. As soon as he opened the door he almost dumped into Jimin.

"Oh sorry. I didn't see you." Jimin apologized looking up at younger who was already staring back at him.

"It's okay." Jungkook whispered and only then he noticed how close they were.

Jungkook stared into Jimin's eyes, noticing that older's eyes had some kind of spark in them.

"Well then let's go. It's almost midnight." Jimin broke an eye contact and cleared his throat before walking back in the living room.

"Jimin, Jungkook come on! It's almost here! Eleven! Ten! Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five! Four! Three! Two! One! Happy New year!!" Everyone screamed and clapped as they hug each other.

The the fireworks were heard from outside. Everyone quickly ran to the window, watching the colorful show.

Jungkook stood there watching the window reflecting many colours. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned around to see Jimin smiling widely at him.

"Is everything okay?" Jimin asked, looking worried.

"Yeah." Jungkook nodded, tight smile covering his face.

Suddenly he was pulled into tight warm hug. He was frozen for a second before hugging other back.

"Happy New year Jungkook." Jimin whispered while kissing younger's cheeks quickly.

"Happy New year." Jungkook closed his eyes, feeling sleepy and comfortable in older's arms.
