Hai, it's me Armiya but most people just call Armi and my life is SO boring. I'm what you could call a nerd I guess, I graduated when I was 15 and since then I've been going to college to study psychology.
I am 17, tan, even in the winter and my classmates always make fun of me for it! It doesn't matter to me though, I don't have time to think about what other people think, especially about my appearance, too busy studying and working as a barista.
Anyway, that's why I normally just hide my green eyes behind my glasses and leave my long wavy brown hair open or in a messy bun if I'm working. Basically it's all for convenience. I guess I'm what you would call Methodist. *rolls up sleeves and strikes pose*
Anyways, today I woke up and fed my two birds Duckie and Jollenkristineangelamarybelle, my fishes Nushi, Simone and Hannah and my cats Scratch and Bite before getting ready for work. I threw on a pink hoodie because it's my favorite color and some shorts (it's SO hot!!!!) before going to class:
"ARMIIIIIIIIIIII" yelled my best friend Lisa when she saw me enter the classroom and went to hug me.
"LISSAAAAAAAA" I yelled back before hugging her and laughing. Some people were giving us weird looks but I'm used to it. To be honest I am pretty weird, but Lisa and me didn't care. When we sat down she turned to me and whispered: "Omg you will not believe it, there are seven new dudes on campus!" I looked at her blankly. "So?"
"Omg Armi, they're the talk of the town apparently they're like SUPER-hot!"
"Well, I bet they're just assholes like the rest of the popular kids!" I said. Normally I'm not that grumpy, I swear, but I was kind of bitter because it had lost an Neymar Jr poster I really wanted in an eBay auction yesterday.
Lisa just gripped my shoulders unphased and said: "Armi don't you understand? This could be our chance to finally climb the social ladder!" Her eyes were practically shining. Poor girl, she had spent too many years licking the shoes of the jocks and cheerleaders, she was desperate (plus bankrupt because she had spent all her money on mouthwash)
"What do you mean?" I asked confused
"They don't know anything yet about this University's social hierarchy, we're basically a blank canvas to them. We befriend them and nobody will ever bother us again wouldn't that be amazing?!?" I sighed. The hopefulness in her eyes was a bit sad.
"We don't need to become friends with some random jocks to become popular. We may be nerds but you know what?" I exclaimed getting pumped up.
"What?"
"We can also be cool! If not even cooler!!!"
Lisa agreed though she didn't look too sure. I said: "Tell you what, just to prove it, we're going to the next party that's happening!"
"Party?! B-but we've never ever been to a part ever! How would we even get invited?"
"Well find a way, just you wait" I said very self assured, not sure why though. It's not like I was one of those stoners from a high school movie that somehow knew the whole world. Sheesh, I mean I'm even too scared to raise my hand in class, I'm pretty sure half of my classmates don't even know my name. I started sweating.
Just how am I going to pull this off?
