SUPRISE

Harry's POV

All I could think about was ria,ria, ria. I seriously needed help , I think she has become an obsession with me, before I sleep ria, when I wake ria, hell even now am thinking about her.

As I walked, to the only class that was giving me problem, Spanish class, I wasn't good with languages, but I had to take this class.
As I sat down in class I scanned the whole class,I didn't speak to anyone in this class most of the students here were Hispanic, and this was an easy A class for them. This was the class only class I was failing, I had a B in the class last year, and my grades were already dropping a C would be suicide.

As I was lost in my thoughts, the teacher walked in.
"Good morning, class"
"Good morning ma" the whole class chimed.
" well this is a good morning for me, but I can't say for you guys as I got an assignment for you guys"
The whole class groaned, seriously what kind of assignment could she have for us.
"All of you are to write an essay about your favourite Spanish person and in Spanish, no hip hop artist allowed"
"Since that been said you are all dismissed, and you are to submit your essay 2 weeks from now."

And that sealed the deal, she has just pronounced my death sentence and she didn't even know, I am officially a dead man.

Ria's POV

As I left harry in the hall way,I went in search of tyra and lucky me she was in front of her locker. She hasn't seen me yet, so I decided to spook her.
"Boooh" I whispers in the her ear.
"I know its you, how many times have I told you, I don't scare easily" she said exasperated.
"When did you say that, I don't seem to recall"
She turns swiftly towards me, looking shocked for a second then replacing the face quickly but not before I noticed it.

"Riai didn't know you were there"
"Ooohhh so who were you expecting"
"I ,,,, no one" she replied
"Don't tell lies tyra"
"Am not"
"You are too"
"Am not" she replied
"Just tell me the truth, what are you hiding tell me, I thought I was your friend" I said playing the thrump card.

"O--------" before she could for her sentence we were accosted by some girls
"Heyria, loved your party" one gushed
"Love your dress"
"You rock"
"You are my new favorite person, love you"
It felt nice being complimented, like this, yeah in your face Brianna.

"I so admired the way you threw the party , you ate definitely getting crowned most popular this year.
" I can't say for sure, but thanks for your support "I replied, yes I mentally fist pumped the air.

After all the pleasantries, time was already fast spend, so any conversation I wanted to have worth tyra had to be suspended.

Later in the day after school , I felt an itch to speak to harry.
Ask got into my car,I scrolled down my contact list and dialed harry's number, it was switched off, I was surprised, what could have prompted him to switch off his phone, as I pulled into the garage, I decided to put it off my mind till later.

A few days later

My popularity on the school board has increased tremendously, I was a few votes to reaching Brianna, I was ecstatic. But since Monday I haven't been able to get hold of harry and tyra has been dodging my questions. As though, my thoughts conjured up the person I wanted to see harry was right in front of me.
I decided to walk up to him and ask him what was his problem, he even missed our scheduled tutoring. Was I failing at my community project, no way I won't allow it. Harry you got me coming at you.

HARRY'S POV
As I stood in the middle of the hallway, trying to decide who I should use as my essay topic, I suddenly noticed someone coming at me with full force, and the person was no other than ria, the person I had tried to put off from my mind but to no avail.
"Hey harry"
"Hey ria"
"So what's up"I said a little bit nervous
"You, missed the tutoring for this week I was expecting you"
Ohhh damn I so forgot about that, my Spanish essay is getting the better of me I thought to myself.
"What's wrong harry"
"Nothing, just a stupid essay" I mumbled
"What essay, maybe I could help"
Like seriously what could she do, she doesn't even know her multiplication table.
"Its a Spanish assignment, write about a famous spainard in Spanish"I replied skeptical

"I could help am good with Spanish"
"Sure you are"
"Buenos dias"
"Come on that easy even I know that"

"OK maybe you know a little what's that going to help me with my essay"
"Seriously, am fluent in like five languages excluding English, I travelled a lot, around the world with my mom"
"Wow" that definitely came as a surprise, so ria isn't as dumb as she claims.
"Yeah so now am the tutor"
"Guess you are"I didn't expect this sort of turn around
" now I can have my evil way with you"she grins evilly
"See you a t my place later today"I replied
" what's wrong with my own house"
"Nothing but now the roles are reversed" I didn't know what I was thinking inviting ria to my home, but it definitely was connected with her very kissable lips. I never said I wasn't I guy.
"I will think about it"
