Chapter 5

Mackenzie's POV

I woke up to Bliss by Flatbush Zombies. I sang along as I got ready for school, I straightened my hair, even though it's already pin straight.

When I got downstairs, everyone was already there. I grabbed an apple and headed to school.

As soon as we got to school, we went straight to our lockers and got everything for the morning.

School was boring, as usual. Its always so depressing on Mondays, everyone is just really tired.

Finally it was lunch. "Are you excited to see Sammy?" Steph asked. "He totally likes you" Nat added, "its only been 12 hours" I responded. "You 2 are still perfect for each other" Nat stated. "so are you and Johnson" I responded. "I don't know if I like him like that and compared to you Sammy. I like someone els-" Nat was cut off by my phone. I grabbed it out of my pocket, seeing it was Sammy I picked up almost amediately.

"Hello?" I said, more of a question. "Hey M, I just wanted to ask you if you and the girls were coming after school" Sammy checked. "do you want us to come?" I asked. "Cam was asking" he said "oh, so its cool if only Ashley goes?" I asked jokingly. "No, I want you to come" he said pleadingly "yeah we'll be there" I said laughing.

I looked at the time, 11:55. "Bye Sammy, I have to go. I'll see you later." I told Sammy. "Bye M, I'll be waiting for you" I hung up my phone and put it in my bag.

"Ooh what does Sammy want?" Maya asked, before I could respond Nat responded for me. "He probably wants her to give him a bj" Ashley slapped her arm. "What? Its true" Nat stated. "He was checking if we are still going over after school" I responded to Maya's question.

We headed to our lockers to grab our stuff for the afternoon. Katie, the school slut 'accidentally' bumped into me. Of course she rolled her eyes like always "keep rolling your eyes, maybe just maybe you might find your brain back there" I said. "I bet your ass is jealous of your mouth because of all the shit thats coming out of it" Katie shot back. "how long did it take you to come up with that one?" Ashley asked her. She just stood there "roses are red, violets are blue, I have 5 fingers, and the middle one's for you" I rhymed and all of us put up our middle fingers. "whatever" Katie says as she walks away, her little group of sluts following.

We all headed to our next classes, the rest of the day went by slowly because I was waiting for 3:00 when we can leave, so we can go straight to the hotel.

Finally 2:58. I felt like I was at East High in HSM 2 when they are counting down the seconds 'summer, summer, summer' I said in my head. Steph sits beside me, so I leaned over and whispered "2 minutes" in her ear.

"Okay, you're dismissed" the teacher lets us free. I quickly pack my bags and run out of the class room. Steph and Maya follow "wait up M" Maya shouts from behind me.

I sprint to my locker and get what I need for the night. I go to Nat's locker because its the closest to mine and drag her out. "Mackenzie stop" she scolds.

"fine I'll just go by myself" I said "do you know where it is?" Nat asked. "no...Sammy said he'd text me but he hasn't yet" I responded. "I know everything, room numbers and everything" Nat said.
