Emma finally woke up after being unconscious for more than a day. She had a terrible head ache and tried to remember what happened.
She slowly remembers everything: the darkness escaping Rumple's dagger, the apprentice being killed, her protecting Regina's happy ending by sacrificing herself, losing Killian.

She stood up on her feet and began to explore what seemed to be a vault.

She noticed there were no doors at all, she couldn't escape this place which felt filled with darkness and evil.

She quickly finished to explore everything, the only thing present in this room were the bed she was previously laying on, a table, a chair and a lit candle.

She had lost everything in a matter of seconds and now she was locked in a prison with no further explanation.

She resumed to go back on the bed and think about what all of what she had done meant: she was the dark one now, and she felt different, her heart was beating differently in her chest.

Emma was so lost in her thoughts she didn't even notice the man who appeared from nowhere, sitting on the chair.

"Hi, Emma, I didn't excepted you so soon" said the bearded man.

"What the hell?" Responded Emma surprised at the sigh of the old man.

"You must be wondering why you are here, locked up like a criminal " he added

"Of course I wonder" Emma said angrily, more angry than she expected
"But what I really want to know is why I'm here ? Why aren't I in Storybrooke ? I'm supposed to be the dark one, right ? "

"Emma, your name is now written on the dagger, which means of course that you are the dark one, but you became it to save someone else's happy ending, you sacrificed yourself, you didn't become the dark one to gain power. That is why you are here, the power of the dagger and its owner has been changed, the rules have changed" explained the old man.

"What do you mean by changed ? Am I going to stay forever here with you ? Will I ever see my parents again ? And Henry? And...Killian?"
At the thought of Killian, Emma's heart began to ache. She had told him she loved him and now she was probably never going to see him again.

"Patience ! We have all the time in the world to answer to all of your questions!" Added the man.
"But now you must sleep and rest, you have a long journey waiting for you"

And with those words he left, leaving Emma more confused than ever.

She decided to listen to the old man and followed his advice: she was back in the bed, already sleeping like a log, wondering if this was just a dream..
