Chapter 1 Under The Shadows

The night is young the air is cold, the only time we can come out and hide Under The Shadows.

It is a tradition for a Qetsiyah to go for her first hunt when they turn 16.
In this case it's Millecent's turn,she have a week to fully prepare for her first hunt,she has to find a way to figure out what her abilities are,she has to be the one to bring a Knight in their Coven.
It's rather hard this time when It's also Tilde Guant's birthday next week,Tilde is remarkable she's better than Millecent,she's an introvert but has more skill, considering that all Gaunt's are hybrids,Half Vampire, Half Witch. They may be better but The Frazer's call them Dirty Bloods.
They're not pure,they're not clean.
They kill people out of thirst, they lure them and stab them in the back of their head.
They can resist but not Celeste.
She's different. Far more powerful than the High Priestess, Maggie Frazer. Maggie never liked Celeste,I assume it's because she sees her as a threat in her reputation ,Sooner or later Celeste would be the one to guide the whole coven,There's nothing that they can do considering the fact that Celeste is also part of the Bullstrode's She's a warrior aswell. She's fearless and i have hint that it's gonna be her who's gonna guide Tilde through the whole week.
The Frazer's tend to do the same, Rosalie's the one who's gonna train Millecent.
After all, there's only one winner per week.

Celeste's POV

I woke up from a short nap, i spent my whole day hunting animals to feed blood,The thirst of human blood is still in the back of my mind,would've been handy if i could just compell someone to drink from them and make them forget that i even existed,but since i wanted to be better,I have to be better,The Bullstrode's are there to help me to resist drinking fresh blood,they collect from blood banks so i can pursue my recovery,one step at a time, we have a friend that's a closeted witch that works at the blood bank and it really do helps me alot.

I lift my bottle and pour a decent amount of bourbon in my cup, next to it is a tiny vial of bottle that has a fusion of animal and human blood,i mixed the blood and bourbon together and drank the whole cup.
I kept on eyeing on the cabinet, the clear glass of blood peaking in the side isn't helping. Resist celeste, resist.

I slid down my clothes and opened my closet to take out a pair of black pants and black sando,i have decided to put leather jacket that has mamy pockets and secret compartments in the back. After being fully clothed. I wore my black boots and tie the laces as tight as i could.
I made my way into our headquarters, to the Bullstrode's.

There was a group of coven in the distance chatting around and some are training in combat with their swords, knife and bows. There's enough light from the moon and the fire pit. We're sorrounded by trees and from the looks of it,We looked like we live in a different century.

I knocked at the bullstrode and not even a minute the door opened, it wasn't the person i expected to greet me. Maggie.
She looked at me straight in the eye, didn't say a word just exited and walked behind me.
I made my way inside the house and saw Nymph.

"What the hell was that?" I looked at her puzzled and confused.

She didn't say a word,Instead she dragged my hands and took me to the cellar. Before i could even speak she put her hand to my mouth, "Shhh, shhh, don't say a word." I nodded and removed her hands from my mouth.

"She knows,she knows Celeste".I was shocked we were careful how did she know, unless someone had followed us into the town.

I waited for her to say the words again and sure enough i was right.
"Rosalie saw us coming out of the blood bank. She's onto us,we have to be careful,you have to be,You're on you're 4th offense,just one more you'll be banished from here.So do i. We got to stop,you're completely off the rails lately,We have to do something,if the word spread we'll be doomed."
