"Next!" the people judging the auditions call out

While wiping my hands nervously to get rid of the sweat that was staring bead, I started to walk out to the mark on the floor. I had already highlighted and memorized some of the lines I would need to read, so at least I had some idea of my character, but still very nervous nonetheless.

"Okay kid, so this is going to be in three parts, one by yourself, and another with a partner, and the last one will be if you get called back, but it'll be in the water, since it is a water movie, but other than that we can start on page 5, your 3rd line. Any questions before we start?" Micheal, one of the judges asked

"No, no questions" I replied

"Alright then, whenever you're ready"

Reading over line 3 and the following lines quickly, I tried to match the feeling that might've gone with the sayings.
'Just fake it till you make addie' I thought

"The way of water has no beginning and no end. Our hearts beat in the womb of the world. Water connects all things, life to death, darkness to light." I serenely said. "You must imagine a flickering flame, you must slow down your heart beat."

"it's very simple, you just breathe. The only thing that is different is that you need to slow down your heart and breathe from here, your stomach." I said holding my stomach to emphasize my words

"Once you can breathe under the water, you will learn how to ride ilu. Ilu are like your ikran, only under water." Informing the imaginary people I was talking to, also motioning to the side, where the water would be in my imagination

"Cut! That was nice, very well said!" Micheal announced. "Have you had acting experience before?"

"Thank you! But just once sir, in a TV show called Odd Squad." I replied

"Don't we have a kid from there auditioning today?" Micheal asked the other judges.

"I'm pretty sure we do. Should we pair them together for the next part?" Lauren, one of the other judges confirmed.

"Yeah let's see what they got together. Kelly, can you bring out Filip Geljo for us please?" Micheal, asked to Kelly, who I'm guessing, is their assistant.

Filip...if it is who I think it is, this is going to be so much fun, I haven't seen him since we wrapped. I thought, waiting for Filip to enter.

"Do you know or remeber working with Filip?" Lauren asked

"If it is who i think it is, then yes, it was a lot of fun working with him, we got super close during filming, but then lost contact after we wrapped" I replied remenisng the days we were together on set having fun

"Here's Filip, Mike" Kelly said whie opening the door to the auditioning room

"Hello! Nice to see you guys again!" Filip said enthusiastically

"Ahaha, it's been like 15 minutes, Filip, not that big of a time difference" Lauren said sarcastically

I just stood there in shock. I never would've thought that I would see him again, especially in avatar auditions. He looks almost the same, but of course looked a little more grown, than the last time I saw him.

"Oh my god, Addie or should I say, Opal?" Filip said with a mischievous smirk on his face since he used my screen name when i was on set, finally looking at me in disbelief

"We meet again Otto" I said returning the same disbelief and mischievous smirk since i too used his screen name from set, only opening my arms to offer a hug

"We meet again" The mischief never leaving his face, he went for the hug, to which he picked me up and spun me around, which was something we used to always do on set

"Alright, once you guys are done, lets start from page 5, line 10. Ready when you guys are." Micheal said, sort of signaling to wrap up our little reunion

"Right, sorry, page 5, line 10" Filip said apologizing but also trying to remeber where to start

"Well I'm going to start without you if you don't hurry it up bro" I said impatiently ready to finish for today, feeling my stomach rumble, asking for food.

"That's rude, but I got it now. Let's start!" Filip said enthusiastically, quickly changing to a solemn tone to match the line, "look, I need to talk to you but you can't tell dad or mom okay? You're the one of the best warriors in the clan and I need your help"

"Why would you need my help? What have you done?" I said questioning Filip, or his character

"I have led lo'ak outside the reef to the 3 Brothers rocks, but that was in the morning, when me and roxto went out to fish for lunch"

"You are so stupid, you need to tell mom and dad then go tell the first Sully you see, I'm going out to look for him"

"But I don't-"

"This is your doing, you fix this. I know that this was your idea, you're the leader of you little friend group. Now go!"

"Cut! Wow, I am impressed with you two, having so much talent at such young ages!" Lauren said amazed

"Yes, I agree with Lauren, well done you two" Micheal said agreeing with his colleague

"Thank you so much!" Me and Filip both said gratefully

"Well, that's it for today, thank you again both of you! This goes for both of you, keep your phone handy for the next month or so, call backs should be happening within that time. With that you guys are free to go, thank you!" Micheal said with a smile

"Alright, thank you again, have a nice day!" I said for both me and Filip, walking out together

After the door closes and we're back out on the street, we walk the same way in silence for a bit before one of us starts talking again.

"I can't believe we just did that" Filip said in disbelief

"Me too, and being honest, I thought we'd never see each other again, unless it was on screen" I said sharing the same disbelief with him

"That's what I thought too! Also I heard you stomach grumble inside, wanna go get some food? I know you get 'hangry' if you don't eat right away" Filip said with a sarcastic tone, but we both knew it was somewhat true

"Stop did you really hear that?! That's so embarrassing oh my god!" I asked covering my face in my hands which was a bad idea since I walked straight into a pole

"Oh my god! Addie bro, are you okay?!" He said in between laughs, not being able to offer any help since he crouched down still laughing

"Yes, I'm fine, thanks for the help asshole" I said also in between laughs "get up, people are staring now!"

"Then let them stare. They should mind their own business" he said recovering from his laughing fit, "let's go to the chipotle around the corner"

"Sounds very good to me!"
