A Fresh Start

After my bath I changed into some comfy clothes. I headed down to the living room and saw them on the couch. I went to the kitchen to cook some lunch for us. As soon as the food was ready we ate the noodles I made. Jim went to have some fun in the ground while Thor and I went to talk in the living room.

" You know about the situation that we have dealt with and are trying to stop here. I lost my family and most of my friends due to it. But the one that hurt the most was my boyfriend of five months." I said

"What happened to your family?"Thor asked

" My best friend saw them zombified causing after them. The solider holding the evac point shot them before they could get to them. He still got jumped on by his zombified girlfriend and bited."

" What happened to him?" Thor also asked

" There was a first attempt of the virus in a city. The military drop a nuke on it to take care of the problem. A week later his company was the first line of defense with a new zombie virus. The whole company was overrun and killed."

" So sorry to hear that, if you do not mind me asking how did you guys meet?"

" I went to a concealed carry class and he was the teacher. I passed the class the fastest he ever saw. We had private class and started dating shortly after. After they dropped the nuke some of the civilians and I got the honar to learn how to use different type of guns."

" What was that warrior's name?"

" His name was Ezra, he was a second lieutenant in the army. I have lost everyone that I know except my best friend. I do not want to lose somebody else due to the zombie virus one way or another. I already accepted their deaths and moved on. I do not know if I can move on again from losing another person." I said with a sad tone.

" I understand that you worried about me but we have a very strong team hunting them down. We will make sure they are dead before they can even start a zombie apocalypse, and with you fighting with us we have someone that knows how to fight back. We have your back and you will not lose any more loved ones." Thor said with a comforting voice.

" Thank you so much for hearing me out on this. I do not want to relive those tragic moments all over again. What do you want to do for a while? Jim is having his personal time."

" How would you like to watch some movies?"

" I would love to watch some" I said. We just watch some movies untill I needed to make dinner. After dinner we look at the stars and relaxed for a couple of hours before heading to bed.
