A tired government worker yawns at his monitor as he opens his thermos and drinks from it.
As he closes it he notices something slicing precisely through the defenses and firewalls protecting government files and classified information.
Worker: shit!
he begins to work to prevent this mysterious entity but all of his attempts are brutally destroyed
At yokosuka
Alpha: nice try however I can't have you getting in my way I do apologize for your keyboard and monitor though.
Back at Tokyo
the worker's computer fries and he can only watch as multiple files, mostly ones concerning the fog and anyone who's faced them are copied.
and just like that the mysterious attacker disappears completely like they were never even there to begin with.
At yokosuka
Alpha: 34.72 seconds 10 seconds slower than my fastest time with such defences.
His body stops glowing as he expertly makes his way back down to his dorm and sneaks back in through the window.
He then changes to some night wear as he communicates with terra.
Alpha: alpha to terra I have gotten as much information as I could from the Japanese government it should be arriving in your database momentarily.
Terra: copy.
Shortly after terra responds.
Terra: alpha I have a new addition to your mission apparently the fog submarine i-401 was captured without retaliation and is now hidden somewhere in the academy, find it without getting caught and study it, silence anyone if they find out what you're doing.
Alpha: copy, shall I make them disappear without a Trace?
Terra: do whatever you wish just make sure they can't reveal what you're doing and make sure no one finds out that you killed them if you do decide to kill them.
