This whole stage of my life started in second grade. There was this boy named Shawn who used to bully me and be rude to me for no reason. I was in charder school with uniforms. So that was a problem for me and I was one of the kids with the baggy pants and no belt. At the time I was dealing with being a little poor. So, everyday Shawn would point out that I needed a belt. He would take his belt off and ask me if I wanted to use it and since I was so gullible, I'd think he was being nice. When I'd tried to reach for it he would say sike and bust out laughing. The crazy thing is I liked Shawn even though he did those terrible things to me. I never used to tell my mom because I was scared I'd be called a class snitch and be bullied even more than I already was and that was THE SEED.
But, out of all these bad things there was this one good thing. My teacher Ms.Ryan used to make the whole class write her letters everyday in our notebooks to increase our letter writing skills. I am and was a very disrespectful and rude kid. So. I didn't like writing to her and I didn't want to follow her rules. One day, she sent me out the room and to the vice principals office because I pushed a desk down when I got mad. That night I thought she was the worst teacher and that I hated her. But, little did I know the very next day she was going to change my life forever.
So, that night my family and I went on errands and I fell asleep. When I woke up we had clothes in our trunk and everyone was asleep. We were parked in a Race Trac. I was really scared, so I woke up my mom ad I asked her why we weren't at home.
At the time I was shaking and crying, so she didn't want to scare me more then I already was. She just told me to go back to sleep. The next morning we brushed our teeth at WalMart and my mom told us that we would have to live in our car for a few days. When I went to school, in my letter to Ms.Ryan I told her about my family and I being homeless.
She talked to my mom and helped us get a hotel. She also arranged for us to have teachers bring us dinner for a week ( btw shout out to Ms.Ryan, Ms.Z , Ms.Maciel, & Ms.Cavasos ). It was the best week.
