His day started the same every day. He woke up at 4:30 in the morning, got dressed and headed down to the kitchen. While being in the FBI there wasn't time for a lot in the morning, but one thing that Stiles always made time for was a cup of coffee and some time to read the paper. On this particular morning Stiles Stilinski noticed something was off. Stiles looked around his house, but somehow it didn't feel the same. It felt like there was another person in the house although it didn't make sense because he lived alone. Making his way to the living room, he opened the front door and was shocked at what he found. At the front door, in a basket, he found a baby. Although it was unclear how long the baby was outside of his door, he knew it was freezing out and the child had to come in. Gently picking up for basket with a baby inside, he closed the front door. He had put a basket on the dining room table as a note fell out. Looking at the piece of paper that had fallen out he took it into his hands and started to read it silently. He was shocked that someone could leave the baby at the doorstep in the middle of the winter. It must have been below 30 degrees in Washington DC and even he was freezing inside his house. After finishing reading the note, he looked at the baby. Based on the color of the blanket which he saw inside the basket he assumed it was a girl. He smiled at the child inside the basket as he gently took her in his arms. The baby started to fuss which he responded to rocking her.

"It's okay, sweetheart. It's okay," Stiles said.

Stiles was in his early to mid-30s, he lived on his own in his house in Washington DC while continuing his work for the FBI. Stiles have been working for free FBI since he was 18 and never left. He never left the house that he's been living in since he was 22. Since his high school graduation in Beacon Hills, he hasn't gone back. Since his breakup with his girlfriend Lydia Martin back when there were 26, he hasn't looked back at anything. But in that particular moment, he remembered the moment when he and Lydia thought they were gonna be together forever. When they discussed a life of themselves outside of the supernatural disaster that they had lived for so many years. How one day Stiles would move from the FBI to the police becoming a deputy and how, despite of her love for math Lydia would become a science teacher, using that to her advantage. He remembered how he and Lydia always said that one day they would open their own Academy where they would teach children how to fight against the supernatural monsters they fought. How they would get married, have their own children. Stiles remembers the day where he and Lydia discussed names. How he wanted to name their first-born daughter after his mother Claudia, but Lydia also told him that she loved the name Stella. She thought the meaning of the name was something out of this world and she thought how unique it was.

"Stella," Stiles said as he saw how the baby looked at him.

"That's your name then. Hi, Stella," he said smiling at the perfect bundle in front of him.

But he didn't know the first thing of raising a baby, and this person assumes that he does. He knew he had to call childcare and he had to find a home for this baby girl, but how does one do that? How does one just abandon their child and expect another man to raise her? He couldn't even imagine doing that to his own child. Shaking his head, he saw as the baby was asleep and laid her back down in the basket. He was going to raise the sweet and adorable little girl. Even if he didn't know how, he would find a way to raise her and to give her the best life that he humanly could provide for her.
