*Connor's POV*
I laid in my bed wondering if I should tell Chris or not about Ronnie and what happened last night. I decided not to. If he really cared he would've been by her side and none of this would've happened. I walked down the hall to the guest room and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" I heard Ronnie yell and I crept through the door.
"What are you doing up so early?" I asked her.
"I was thinking you and I could go out and do something....and talk."
And talk? about what?
"Yea, what were you thinking?"
"Mall? Steak and Shake?" She suggested.
"Alright, just let me shower quick and we'll go." She smiled and I headed to my room to shower and get ready.

"You ready?" I asked walking back into the guest room.
"Yep, that was a quick shower." Ronnie said grabbing her jacket. "Let's go."
We got to the mall and Ronnie pulled me from store to store. We waked into Forever 21 she made me sit on the bench and watch her try on dress after dress and give my opinion.
"How about this one?" She asked twerling around in a white dress with red flowers on it and a black belt around her waste.
"It's....I....I don't know. I'm a dude, Ronnie."
She giggled and walked up to me. She ran her fingers through my hair and barely kissed my lips. She looked down at me and smiled.
"Chris would've never done this with me. Ever. I know you're bored to death, but thanks for not being rude and complaining." She said with a sad yet happy tone in her voice.
"I'm not bored, Ronnie. I'm never bored with you and to be honest you loook beautiful in that dress."
Her face turned a soft red and she stepped back away from me and spun around again, "you really think so?"
"Mhmm," I said grabbing her hand and twerling her around.
"Then I'm gonna buy it!" She said running back into the dressing room and slamming the door shut.
I watched her feet under the door as her dress dropped to the floor. I saw her hand pick it up and she pulled her jeans over her legs. Her shoes slipped onto her feet and that was my cue to get up. The door opened and she smiled.
We walked up to the counter to pay for her dress.
"$35 is your total."
"Credit." Ronnie stated and pulled her card out of her little bag.
"I've got it, Ronnie." I said pushing her hand away from the card machine.
"Connor! No!" She yelled quietly.
"It's just 35 bucks. Calm down." I said and swept my card.
"Your receipts in the bag, have a good day." The cashier said and Ronnie glared at me.
"Your welcome." I said handing her the bag.
"Thanks." She said and took the bag, "really."
I smiled, "So, Steak and Shake?"
"Yes! I'm starving!"
We got to Steak and Shake and ordered our food. We sat down and Ronnie took a sip out of her milk shake and looked up at me.
"What?" She asked noticing my staring.
"Nothing....It's just....so you wanted to talk."
"Mhmmm..." she said and pushed her cup away from her. "I wanted to talk about the night at the carnival."
"You mean with Chris?"
"No, with us...." She said eating a french fry. "What are we?"
"Right now? Friends. If you want to be more than...."
"No, I mean...I dont want to friend zone you, Con, but-"
"I feel like you've been friend zoning me since we met. I mean after all I've liked you since like 7th grade and you ended up with Chris."
"Connor, I'm sorry. I feel like I've already messed up your friendship with Chris and I don't want to make it worse by us being 'together'." She said taking another sip of her milkshake.
I bit my lip and ate a french fry. I didn't know what to say. She didn't want to be more than friends, she probably never even thought about it.
"You didn't mess up my friendship with Chris. He's an ass anyway. So, you'd never even give us a chance?"
"Connor, you, me and Chris, we were all bestfriends. I lost a bestfriend because i dated him. I don't want to lose you too."
"You won'." Is what I wanted to say, but instead I said, "Okay, so forget we ever kissed, nothing happened. We're just friends."
"Right," She said, "Now, pass me the ketchup."
"So needy." I said and slid the ketchup across the table.
