Back At Nevermore

Calmer chapter and it's a bit shorter. Only really one bit which isn't rlly calm and that's just yeah enjoy the chapter guys!! If u have suggestions for the story line then please do tell me cuz I've confused myself😭.

You came back to Nevermore the day after as they had to run some checks. You didn't feel the same. You felt empty, like there was no point in talking to friends. Or even existing. You was in a deep state. You had a shower and it was nice feeling the hot water hit against your body. You swore to always carry your sword with you for your own protection and to not get drunk again.

When you came out Ajax smiled at seeing you walk out your hour long showers as he missed your company. You got changed in your wardrobe and layed on your bed with your sword on top of you. At night you went out to the forest with sword in its holster around your waist. You set up a training dummy which took a while. You was trying to stay calm but you chose to let out the anger, you've already been out there for an hour and a half and it started raining like 20 minutes ago. You gripped your sword with both hands as you squeezed onto the grip as you started doing big swings at the dummy with shouts. You Eventually you just broke and sat down holding your sword. Enid had been watching you for a while and she walked over with her umbrella and a towel for you.
"Let's go inside y/n." She says putting the umbrella over you and the towel. You get up putting your sword in its holster and walking with her.
"Y/N.." she says with worry in her tone.
"im fine." You respond coldly. You walk in silence as you get to her dorm.
"Dry your self in the bathroom Wednesday is here just in her writing time so yeah." You walk in after enid opens the door as you take your sword with you. You came out dry and a towel round you.

"Imma get some clothes." You say going to your dorm and grab some clothes seeing Ajax is still in the shower. You walk back to Enid's dorm as she offers you to sit next to her.
"we're sorry about what happened to you. It shouldn't of happened to any of us and for that long.. I just hope your okay." She says with a slight smile.
"How you feeling?" She says after as you see Wednesday peeking behind her to see you too.

"Dead. I should of died. I feel empty, I don't feel the same I just don't. Feel anything other than anger and frustration." You say looking at the floor. You hand started hurting as you've not let go of your sword only when you were drying off.
"Just. Let go. Let it out." Enid says holding your hand gripping the sword.
"Shall I leave you two alone?" Wednesday says.

".." you just move your pupils to make eye contact with her. Enid says she has to go check something really quick and you stay sitting. Wednesday comes and sits next to you.
"What did they do." She asks coldly.
".. cut me, drowned me, hung me upside down, beat me." You say looking at the floor.

"No one should have to go through that." Wednesday inhales deeply, "Come." She says awkwardly holding her arms out as you just fall into them.
"I'll protect you. Your my partner after all." She says looking down at you.
You look up at her and catch eyes.
"Thank you Wednesday. You didn't have to do this it doesn't suit you." You say as you wrap your arms around her as she rests her head on yours. Enid walks in and comes over to you.
"Group hug?" She says with a smile.
Wednesday just stares at her coldly but she joins in anyway.

"Your safe now y/n." Wednesday adds and then gets out the hug and goes to her bed to read. You Evantually get up and go into your dorm waving goodbye to them both. You layed on your bed looking up at the ceiling. You couldn't sleep so you looked out on the small balcony you share with Ajax. Ajax walks up to you and hands you a joint. You both just stay there in silence sharing it.
"Me and you. Till we die bro." Ajax says turning to you so you look at him and share a bro hug.

"I fucking missed you man." You say as Ajax hears the gaps in your voice.
"I missed you too man." He says as you both get off each other and head to bed.
