She had the best relationship with giyu, she saw him as her savior and father, and giyu was who want out of his way and time to care for Nezuko when Tanjiro was out on missions and Giyu would have been the only person willingly doing it. But Nezuko has something that Giyu gave her, it was a peice of his haori, giyu cut a peice along the bottom of his haori and gave it to Nezuko, saying as if he was going to die soon.
