Gem of Venus saga chapter 3: the shattered gem

Rosalina and Riot arrived at Rouge's apartment "remember we're looking for the gem" Rosalina said the lights than turned on Rouge stood there "what are you doing here?" She asked "we need that gem back, it released Venus the mayhem demon" Rosalina said "no way I worked hard to get that thing" she said "Rouge please, my brother and our friends, she's killed them, the only way we can bring them back is with the gem" Riot said showing censarity that none of the others have seen, Rouge's concence was struggling with this "okay take it, I'll even help you fight the thing" they nodded as the three of them headed out to meet the others, meanwhile Sonic, Ziro, Chris, Steven, and Cream were waiting for them "were here" Riot said "alright everyone, let's do this, for the others" Ziro said which everyone cheered, they all arrived at station square looking for the demon "I don't see anything" Rosalina said before being swooped up by Venus and being kissed draining her soul and dropping her lifeless body "welcome back cuties" she than kissed Steven "don't let her lips touch you" Sonic said as each of them dodged her kiss attack "how do we stop her?" Sonic said "Rosalina said that we half to break the gem" Riot said Rouge pulled out the gem "here it is" she tossed it before being kicked away by Venus Chris caught the gem only to be grabbed by the demon he punched her in the face over and over but it was not helping him "how about kiss?" She leaned in "Riot catch" he said before being kissed she caught it holding it up slowly crushing it as the demon screamed in pain "Wait, let's talk about this" she tried to reason "this is for my brother" she said as she completely crushed it "no, no, NOOOO!" Her body slowly devolved as the demon was now dead and gone Rosalina, Steven, and Chris all sat up "what happened?" Chris asked Knuckles, Amy and Tails all arrived also alive and well "we did it guys" Cream said as the group began to celebrate "yeah we" Ziro saw a card drop from his quills that read "thanks for the chaos emerald handsome -Rouge" he growled "alright Rouge you wanna play that game?" He took off toward her apartment "than we'll play it"
