Ness pov
*I woke up at 6:30am and got a shower then got dressed into a pair of Jeans and a I put on my CFD t shirt and I grabbed my Lululemon jacket to put on over it and I put my hair in a messy bun and I put on my engagement ring and then I went downstairs to get breakfast and I saw my handsome fiancé in the living room getting his things together*
Ness:morning !
Jay:good morning
Ness:*kisses him* what time are you off today
Jay:*kisses back* I'm off at 8pm as of right now but I will let you know
Ness:ok !
*jay leaves the house and I make myself a coffee and I grab my bag and I go to my car and I start driving to the firehouse and after a 20 min drive I finally arrive I grab my bag and I make my way into the firehouse and into the common room where I saw everyone I said good
Morning then went to the locker room and got changed into my uniform and then I went back out to the common room and sat down*
Gabby:so how did it go last night
*everyone pays there attention to me and I look at gabby and I smile*
Ness:well let's just say that I'm ENGAGED! *I show my ring to everyone*
Gabby:OMG !!!! Congratulations
Matt:what ! Your engaged !
Ness:yeah
Matt:that's awesome ! Congratulations
Ness:thank you !
Gabby:can I see the ring please
Ness:here ! *shows her my hand*
Gabby:it's stunning ness !
Ness:right ! It's absolutely gorgeous

*we spend the next few minutes talking about the engagement when the bells went off*
Intercom:truck 81 engine 51 squad 3 ambulance 61 apartment fire Nixon road*
Gabby:wanna drive ?
Ness:sure !
*I take the keys and we make our way to the ambulance where we followed engine to the site and saw a 10 story apartment building in flames*
Kelly:we're going to need back up here immediately
Chief:I'll call it in and ness want to call in a backup ambulance just in case
Ness:yeah *radios* this is ambulance 61 to main we are going to need another ambulance to the apartment fire
Main:*radios* ambulance 61 sending another ambulance your way
*we get our bags ready and we stand by Cheif to see if we are going to be needed*
Kelly:*radios* we have about 10 victims coming out now
Chief:gabby set up a triage ness you meet the victims and tell them where to go
*gabby sets up a triage and I'm telling all the victims where to go when this little girl comes over go me*

Ness:hi
?:my mommy was in that building is she ok
Ness:um what was your mommy's name

Ness:ok and what's your name

Ness:ok lily were you in that building
Lily:no I was in the car waiting for her
Ness:ok how about you go over there and sit down i will see what I can do ok

*after all the victims are out I go over to gabby and
I help her out with the victims when the cops show up and jay and Hank come over to me*
Hank:ness do you have a second
Ness:yeah what's up ?
Jay:did there happen to be a little girl in the fire her name is lily
Ness:she wasn't in the fire but she is here why ?
Hank:oh thank god ! Where is she
Ness:she's sitting down on the table over there
Hank:thank you
Ness:jay what is going on?
Jay:that's sarges niece lily Voight his brother lily's dad died when lily was only 2 and her mom Rachel is all she has
Ness:that's horrible
Jay:is there any news of Rachel
Ness:idk what she looks like but there is a full tarp full of people over there
Jay:okay
Ness:if she Is not there then I guess she is still in there somewhere
Jay:yeah ok thanks love you
Ness:love you to and I'll look around for her

*jay goes to Hank and I go around the tarp looking for Rachel*
Ness:is there anyone here names Rachel ! Rachel Voight !?

Ness:Rachel hi ! Your brother in law and daughter are over there and they are wondering if you are ok
Rachel:ok can I go over to them
Ness:yeah just be careful

*after a few hours it was now 4 pm we have been at the site for 3 hours now and just finally finished cleaning everything up so we made our way back to the firehouse when we got back I went to the washroom to get to get cleaned up cause I had a lot of blood and dirt on me afterwards I went out to the common room and sat down next to my brother*
Matt:you ok ?
Ness:yeah just tired
Matt:why don't you get off shift early to had a busy day
Ness:okay is chief in his office
Matt:yeah
*I get up from the table and I go his office and i ask him to get of shift early he said yes so I got changed into the outfit I came here in and I grabbed my bag and I went out to my car and I decided to drive to the district so I drove the 10 mins and when I arrived I parked my car and I headed up over the stairs and opened the door and went up to Trudy*
Trudy:Vanessa ! What can I do for you
Ness:is the team here
Trudy:yeah they are upstairs also congratulations
Ness:thank you !
Trudy:here I'll open the gate for you
Ness:thanks again Trudy
Trudy:no problem
*trudy opened the gate and I went upstairs to the bullpen when I was bomb barded with hellos*
Hailey:Vanessa ! Congratulations
Ness:thanks Hailey
Jay:hey baby !
Ness:hey ! *kisses him*
Jay:what are you doing here ?
Ness:I got off work early and decided to come see you
Jay:well I appreciate that a lot
Ness:how is Hank ?
Jay:doing a lot better now that he knows that Rachel is ok
Ness:is he at the hospital with her
Jay:yeah he took lily with him
Ness:that's nice
*I talked with the intelligence unit for a while then I left and went home and I laid down all day cause I was exhausted it was now 6 pm so I made supper for myself and watched a movie and I decided to go to bed at 10 pm so I texted jay to tell him*
