The Bite (Book 1)

Q&A

For those of you who have not jumped on my Instagram, I thought I would answer some of your questions here! Also there will be spoilers - so do not keep reading if you don't want to see spoilers! 

Q1: What's different from the first book and why? 

Well, a lot is different. And while I know some people are not going to love it, all I can ask is that you trust me! The first book on Wattpad is long. Like, that thing would weigh fifty pounds if it were an actual book on a bookshelf. That AND there were a lot of things I wanted to do with the story that I did not get to do in the first version of The Bite—there were a lot of relationships I wanted to expand and refine, like Levi and Charlotte's, and there were other scenes I didn't get to publish before that I wanted to. I really wanted to refine the story, and take my time with ensuring that I got to really tell Charlotte's story in the best way possible, which means slowing some things down to do her justice. And while I know all of you are wondering about the rest of the story, again, TRUST me! All will be well you guys. 

Q2: Ok, so quite a bit has changed? 

I mean yes and no. The story is more mature, as it was originally intended to be. The bones and core storyline are there. Just think of this as the story I really wanted to tell and refine and show to the world. 

Q3: So Nate? Marcus? 

LOL yes! So again, some of the details changed but not the bones. I really liked how uppity and snobby the name "Nathan" sounded hence why I decided to swap him for Marcus. 

Q4: But we want romance! 

I mean me too. But you know what I wanted more? Charlotte to overcome her past trauma for herself—only herself and no other reason. That is very true to Book 1 following her through her shift. I thought it was really important to keep the integrity of her journey and while yes, we get some cookie crumbs, the point is that she can do things for herself.
