Mondays were the worst, it didn't matter if you were the geek, the cheerleader, the jock, or the joke., no one likes getting up and going to school on a Monday. Demetrius stood in front of the main building of Olympus High. His hands stuffed in the pockets his dark jeans, air became visible as he sighed in the chill of the morning air. It was mid-April and the mornings were still slightly cold. His electric blue eyes stared vacantly as he watched the other students walk to their classes. Just before the bell rang he walked inside. He couldn't help it, as he passed Alexandria's locker, he stared.

Math on a Monday was even worse than just Monday mornings. Demetrius was never interested in math; it always came to easily for him. He was one of the smartest here; he just didn't like showing it. He sighs when he gets to class, all of the students look at him with fear and admiration. The teacher looks up ready to scold him but once he figures out that it's Demetrius he goes back to looking at his papers.

"Ok class it's time to take out your homework and pass it forward." Demetrius sits in the back next to Ace, the quarterback. They were the most in a likely a friends, but their attitudes seemed equal to each other.

In front of them sat the class clowns, Reggie and Theo. Reggie was the soccer player that never seem to play despise absolute left for the game. His hair was short and reminded Demetrius of Chris Brown. His dark skin seemed to make all around the perfect picture. He wasn't as tall as he probably could have been, but for as long as Demetrius has known him, he's been on the smaller side. Theo on the other hand it was just opposite. He was tall, lanky and had sandy brown hair that clashed with freckles on his face.

At the front of the class at Alexandria. Demetrius hasn't ever spoken to her directly, he watches from afar. She was the type to answer every question the teacher asked while adding her own input. She was smart and pretty or so Demetrius thought. She has platinum blonde hair and hazel eyes. They complemented her skin tone perfectly and made her look almost like a Greek goddess. Ace would talk nonstop in the back of the class, rolling his eyes while Demetrious would try to ignore him.

Math seemed to go on for what felt like forever. Finally it ended, much to Demetrius's relief. Weight training was next, Demetrius favorited this class, he can put in headphones and listen to music while lifting way all his angers and frustrations. He could bench between 280 and 290 depending on how he's feeling that day. The class contained must of the athletic kids in school. Kasey, the cheerleader tended to hover in the corner with a small group of followers, Mabel and Maggie. Brody was the linebacker, he was practically joined to Ace at the hip trying to outdo him to weight. Ace could bench nearly 320 and Brody wasn't too far behind with an even 300.

History was the last class before lunch. This was his favorite class of the day and he hated the moment it ended. They been studying Greek mythology all month long and that was coming to an end. Mr. Hardy stood at the front of the class with all the Greek gods and goddesses on the board. Hades was Demetrius's favorite; he had gotten the short end of the stick just as Demetrius had with his family. Hades has made the best out of what he was given and that was exactly what Demetrius planned to do.
This class had just about everyone that Demetrius grew up with. Gabriel and Genevieve were twins. Gen stood at 5'3" and Gabriel stood a foot taller. Gen dyed her hair silver at the beginning of the year, while her brother kept his natural leaving it the sun yellow he was born with. Her green eyes matched your brothers, although she was more athletic than he was.

Jaelynn was quiet and reserved, she looked fragile and for some reason Demetrius always felt the need to protect her from people like Kasie. Tobias was quiet. Ace labeled him as a geek. He was always needing to push up his glasses and his hair was never tidy.

"Now, today we're going to travel back in time. We're going to see what it's like to live in ancient Greece." Mr. Hardy said, his voice full of enthusiasm.

Demetris smiles. It was a sly smile, the smile of a trickster. "How about we do just that." He says as he snaps his fingers.
The ground shook violently and screams erupted through the entire school. Darkness enveloped the outside of the windows, some of the students began to have panic attacks. Demetrius snapped his fingers again, and in an instant he was outside in the shadows. Wings that move twisted and screamed ripped out of the skin on his back. His hair went from being black tipped with cobalt to a solid fiery blue, his eyes became the opposite of their normal color, the rings as dark as the shadows that surrounded the building. His pupils became the same shade of his hair. He loses his leather jacket for a longer trench-like coat and his dark pants turn into leather, he keeps his boots.

"Welcome to Underland, may all of your worst nightmares come true." A deep voice echoed through the school.
