Instant 5 children after 25 years

"Amazing! Miss Faye, the ova you donated have excellent DNA! Out of ten eggs you donated, 5 of them shows great results in the quality test!"

A young nurse excitedly said to a beautiful young woman, despite wearing no makeup, her lips were pink and her cheeks with natural blush, long eyelashes that covered her droopy blue eyes, the sunlight from the open window hit her and made her whole persona glow.

The nurse was stunned, the woman looked away from the window and to the nurse, and even if she was wearing a hospital gown she emanates an elegant air as if the world's matters didn't affect her.

"That's nice."

Waking up from her stupor, the nurse nodded, 'What a beautiful person' she thought, what a shame though, this beautiful person is sick and is now on god's mercy.

"...Miss are you sure you don't need the compensation?"

Gilda Faye nodded, a small sad smile on her face, "There's a big chance today's the last day I'm alive, I atleast want to leave something behind."

The nurse looked at her with pity, the head researcher came in and greeted the young woman.
"The operation starts in 30 minutes... Are you ready miss?"

Gilda chuckles, "I don't have a choice even if I'm not right Dr. Lu?"

Feeling drowsy from the anesthesia, before she closed her eyes, Gilda thought of the possibility of her death, but looking at the determination in the the doctors eyes, she closed her eyes assured.

Tut...Tut...Tut...

Gilda opened her eyes to the sound of what may be a life machine...
She then discovered that she was in a glass tube thing and found herself naked making her feel chilly.

Then someone came in, saw her awake, and gasped, the person then pressed a button probably calling his colleagues.

Gilda spent the next moments in a daze, the tube was opened and she was carefully brought out, something was injected in her and her previous drowsy state is now gone, she was then dressed in a hospital gown and checked by a doctor.

"...check. no problems are found! This is a miracle, your body did not show any abnormalities despite being frozen for 25 years! Contact dr. Lu!"

'Dr. Lu?... Wait-'
"Did you just say 25 years or do you mean 25 hours?"

The doctor remembered that this patient has been asleep for 25 years and felt sympathy, he don't know how to start explaining.

"25 years Miss, today is February 9th, 2048, you have been frozen since
August 12th, 2023--"

"Are you pulling my leg doc?" 'this gotta be joke...'

"But it is the truth miss Faye." The young doctor clicked his wrist watch and Gilda was shocked when a holographic screen popped out, with a ragdoll cat wallpaper, the date was there.

Gilda was too stunned to speak, she didn't know this young man so theres no way he's pranking her the first time they met, also why would a doctor lie about to the date?

She tries to calm her erratic heart, she thanked the doctor and asked where her stuff was, it took a long time as her stuff was moved a lot during the 25 years she was sleeping.

A young nurse gave her the box containing her belongings, it was covered a bit in dust, the nurse looked curiously at her as she them out one by one, her wallet, keys, some clothes and her phone.

Long pressing the power button, by miracle the iphone started up showing it's brand's logo.

"What an old phone..." Gilda looked at the nurse who then covered her mouth, "Sorry... The last time I saw a phone like that was when I was 6 yrs old."

Raising a brow, Gilda smiled and asked, "Really? How old are you?"

"I'm 26."

'so 20 years ago?... I still can't wrap my head around it...' Gilda looked at her phone, the screen reflecting her face.

When her phone is on, the date was the same as before she shut it down, but after picking up a signal, it then updated to the current date.

Gilda felt surreal.

Gilda spent the next few days being checked up by the institute staff, some blood was drawn and multiple tests was conducted, many staff also dropped in to look at her, Gilda couldn't help but feel like an antique in a museum.

The people who heard that the mysterious frozen woman in the cryo-tube is finally awake, many rushed to take a look, and they couldn't help but be stunned at her beauty, after all they expected someone more older looking as the cryo-tube can only slow a body's state rather than completely freezing it, even the profile pic on her documents did not do her beauty justice, because the tube's glass was blurred intentionally as the person inside need to be butt-naked.

Dr. Lu who was now an old man, heard of Gilda Faye waking up hastened his work and immediately book a flight back to the country.

When he arrived he shoo'ed away the gathering people at the door and when he laid his eyes at the patient, the woman that became his key to success covered in sunlight peeking from the window.
It was like he was back at the time where the 1st operation was just about to start, the once-frozen woman was glowing enough to melt many hearts.

Gilda who opened to window for breathe of air, noticed the people at the door has gone quiet and looked back to see an aged man, brown and silver hair mixed together, glasses sitting on his nose, covering his hazel eyes, a melancholic look on his face.

"....Dr. Lu?"

The man stepped closer and smiled at Gilda.
"Congratulations Ms. Gilda Faye."

Stunned, it took Gilda a moment before smiling at the doctor she trusted her life with.

"Thank you Doctor Lu."

Turns out the operation took 3 tries, and she was already cured 11 years ago however her body stayed in a frozen state.

The two then continued to talk about various topics, the changes, what happened, current issues and stuff, Gilda noticed Melvin Lu drinking water at intervals, and understood that it was a way Dr. Lu is helping her cope.

Was it obvious?

"Dang, the payment for treating me must be in hundred of millions, didn't you say this cryo-tube thing is expensive to maintain? Especially for years???"

The man chuckled and patted her back,
"Don't worry about that, because the treatment of your unique disease was a step to evolution of medical technology, not only that..."

He looked at Gilda with sincere eyes,  "You trusted me with your life without payment, me who was thought to be too naive and inexperienced... That is to say the success of the operation now made me one of the top medical professionals in the world."

Naturally Gilda was relieved, while she did have saved money, its unsure if its still okay in the back after 25 years, maybe it grew? Maybe it's gone... She isn't sure.

Melvin understood her worries and offered help, while Gilda was hesitant, she have no choice but to rely on others for the time being.
