Riley's POV
I was sitting under a tree at the park savoring my last day of summer because tomorrow I have to go back to hell oh I mean high school. Since my brother and his friends graduated I have just been the loner girl. I was always a tomboy growing up with Duke (my brother) I didn't have any girl friends just my bro and his friends but they graduated so I'm alone.
Anyway back to the present I was sitting under a tree listening to music.I start to hear yelling over my music and see our high school football team yelling at me, I take my ear buds out.
"Hey dude can you pass us the ball?" I look around and my eyes land on a football, I get up and grab it one of the guys motion for me to throw it to him so I do the form that Duke tought me to throw with and it landed perfectly in his hands.
I am just as shocked as they are I turn back and sit back down by the tree and listen to music. There is then a shadow over me, I looked up and saw it was the captain of the football team." Dude how did you learn to throw like that?"
Shit they thought I was a guy may as well go with it. I clear my thoght and make my voice more masculine."My bro tought me" he looked me over probably wondering who I am"What's your name dude?"
Think Riley think! "My name is Ryan" Hopefully they buy it. "So Ryan my name is Matt that over there is Gabe, Shawn, James and Ethan" he said pointing a each guy as he says each name. James steps up and stands next to Matt."How old are you Ryan"
"I'm 17 going to be 18 in six months" They all step forward and say at the same time."Ryan do you want to join the football team?" I was shocked to say the least they wanted me ME on the football team.
"I am homeschooled" I lied. Gabe steped forward this time."That doesn't matter" I thought about It for a while and finally dicided."Okay I will join the team"
