Suicide forest is also known as Aokigahara located at the base of Mount Fuji. It's home to the ghosts of people that died in the forest in Japanese Mythology, and was said "all those who goes in never comes back out alive" and if they do they still ended up being suicidal and taking their lives.
It was created around 1,100 years ago after the eruption of Mount Fuji and became worshiped as a sacred place for enshrined dragons and water gods for centuries. It covers about 12 square miles, and is now a place that looks like a fantasy area but, with a dark backstory.
The spirits that roams in those woods seem to be hostile and make it difficult for the forest's victim's to escape. It's said that there are ropes and ribbons tied to the trees, and a demon is guards the forest and makes the bodies vanish.
