A pitch of darkness touched every inch of this home. From the granite ground that seeps coldness through a person soul to the man made walls of carved ivory. This was hell, but nothing special came from it. It was the way it was, no liveliness nor chaos, because of the king who reigned with a strict order. His appearance oozed confidence and obedience from all lower forms beneath him.

A king needs a queen to be called a true king. The queen compliments her king. King Avalon needed a queen to soothe his beast within. Countless of his councilmen offered their women to soothe his beast. King Avalon snarled as the women placed their hands on his person. His beast trembled in agitation, the beast was not pleased. The beast roared frustrated with the lack of progress. It has been years and none have set his loins to a painful pleasure. He ached to have his loins buried in the warmth of his mate, his queen. King Avalon stiffened as a delicate hand slid over his manhood. He slapped the hand away and glared at the daring woman.

"Leave!" Avalon demanded, he gritted his teeth together and bared his fangs. The woman jumped back and fell upon her bottom. Her form racked with shivers as the king animosity bore down upon her. The other women around him backed away from the king and gathered the woman on the ground. They did not dare look back at the king as they flee.

Avalon held back a frustrated growl while rubbing the side of his temples. His ears perked up at the dramatic sigh from his advisor. Avalon raised his head at his advisor.

His advisor was as young as him, but maybe a few years older. Daniel grew up with him and remained loyal only to him. Daniel coughed to cover up his mistake and casted his look away from his king. Avalon raised an eyebrow at him.

"What?" Avlon mumbled slouching in his throne. Avalon quirked a small frown on his lips as Daniel rolled his eyes.

"My King...your quite unstable as of today. Women of the finest caliber aim to please you and satisfy your needs. Surely, you have problem. A problem that is....?" Daniel trailed off and his words made him sort through his mind trying to find a solution.

"I need a queen"

Daniel mouth popped open slightly and nodded his head. Daniel sighs rubbing the bottom of his chin.

"And those women can not be your queen?" Daniel asked and Avalon shook his head. He sighed for the thousandth time and ponder if there was another way.

"I suppose I can use a spell?" Avalon thought aloud to himself. Daniel gaped at his king's outlandish idea. Never have this been done before because many feared of the consequences.

Daniel protested, "My king-". The forbidden spell were never the concoction to ever be done for centuries. Have madness swept through the lonely soul to go to such lengths. He grimaced at his king gaze upon him and wisely closed his mouth. Daniel lowered his eyes as the king tapped his fingers together in deep thought.

" What do I need to perform this spell?"

"You need a half of a Jinx's horn, dead grass, a soul, tear from Celebus, and three droppings of your blood" Daniel said listing off all the ingredients. Daniel raised his head up and fiddled with his tie absently. "What is wrong with you?" Avalon asked, Daniel fidgeted at his hard tone. The king was getting a bad mood and he noticed his king eyes shading a luminescent orange. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Daniel questions hesitantly. With the look he received in return, he hurriedly explained himself. "I mean...what if you get a dwarf or worse, a witch! Witches and wizards are snobby creatures who think we should bow down to them" Daniel hissed angrily. Avalon smirked, "Does it matter when I am going to have my perfect mate soon?". Daniel open and closes his mouth trying to find the rights words to say.  " Fine" Daniel grounded through his gritted teeth and stormed off to find the ingredients.
