The night shift began. A pale blonde woman took a sip of her cappuccino in her office pantry. In police office was quiet at night since only several polices had the night shift, including her. Yuki brought her mug toward her table and opened some documents on it. The papers were full of reports from last month's patrol.

Yuki's boss, Matsumoto, didn't like paperwork and liked to spend his time either doing paperwork, drinking coffee or smoking. He also was one of those who loved being late for work. It wasn't like him.
As much as Yuki wanted to finish reading the papers now, she knew that if she did so there would be no end to the work she had to do tomorrow. She sighed as she put the mug on the desk.

Working in paranormal division was not easy. She often received reports related to paranormal activity. However, the cases were increasing these days which gave her a headache.

"Damn, this sucks..." she left her warm coffee and went to the garage where the police bikes were parked. She took one of the helmets and went out on patrol.

Yuki drove aimlessly through the city, checking up on cases that she missed. There was something that bothered her about the last case but she couldn't pinpoint it. As much as she tried to think about it, she just couldn't get it to work for her. So, she continued her walk to the location. It was in the 4th Alley of Gray Residence. She received a report that someone saw a dried body here and the rumors said it was somekind of demonic attack.

She reached the alley and stopped. She got off her bike and looked at the scene. There was a dead body lying there. Someone must had gone there because the crime scene was covered with blood. She thought to herself that it could be an exorcist who failed to take care of the demon.

Then she walked toward the dead body and crouched down next to it. She lifted the cloth covering and examined the victim, who was male. He looked terribly hurt, there was an open flesh on his abdomen. What kind of demon who would devour human like an animal like this? Suddenly, she caught a cold on her spine. It was unusual. She stood straight and looked around as if someone was watching her. She took a grip on her gun, ready to shoot of someone attacked her. But when she didn't see anything, she relaxed. She didn't want to start a fight on a dark alley. She walked away from the dead man. She checked the area and walked back to her motorcycle. As she started her motorcycle, a cold chill ran down her spine again. Her sharp instincts told her something was behind her. Yuki turned her head and saw a figure standing on the rooftop of a building across the street. He had his arms crossed in front of his chest. He seemed calm and not threatening. Yuki stared at the unknown figure. When they made eye contact, he disappeared in a flash of white and black smoke.

Yuki shook her head, annoyed that she was spooked. She continued her patroling. She passed by a few houses and noticed something odd in front of one of the houses. She stopped and got off her bike again. She walked over to inspect what had caught her attention. It was a small puddle of blood, a little bigger than her fist. She walked closer to examine it and she noticed something else in the puddle. There was a small piece of paper with writing on it. She bent down and picked it up. She read the note aloud. 'It's been a while. Have you been enjoying my gifts? -S.' Yuki stood up and threw the note aside. Who the hell was S? She looked at the puddle once more. It was probably a trickster and maybe another one of the demons that lived inside the puddles and caused trouble. Maybe this demon came out of the puddles and left this note on purpose. If so, Yuki needed to capture the creature.

Suddenly, a knife flew over her face and she got a scratch on it. The knife landed on the puddle which meant the creature was closer. "A hecking damn demon. What do you want this time?" she said to gain attention. There was an evil laugh on the rooftop across her.

"Well, well, a pretty woman should keep her language." The demon was about her height. She glared at him as he showed his fangs and bat wings.

"So, you are the one huh? An eating human demon?" Yuki smirked.
