Chapter 1

Their First Meeting

It has been more than 1000 years since the war between the gods ended, now the world is at peace. When Oswald had given new life to living things on this earth, he created a kingdom where all could live together. The humans and the other gods wanted to give their ruler a gift namely, a castle where he could rest. He accepted the gift wholeheartedly. The years passed quickly, humans always told the new generations about their god and the rest of the gods have been helping him sometimes because they can come in anytime since they can make a realm for their resting place. Some of them have their own territory in the kingdom that was given by Oswald as he is very grateful for them. Oswald always paid respects to humans who had reached the age limit and also the other gods for helping him and for listening to his words. But with every passing year, Oswald wondered why he felt so lonely.

Not long after he realized how lonely he was, he met a woman who was reading a book while leaning her body against a tree trunk. He looked at the woman from a distance while looking at her face which was so serious while reading the book, that it made Oswald curious about the book he was reading. Not long after, he saw two men approaching her, he prepared himself if anything happened to the woman. Oswald walked towards them slowly, taking a sideways approach so he could not be seen. When he was so close to them, he tried to hear their conversation.

"Hey you woman, what are you doing here alone, are you not afraid ? If you are then you shouldn't be reading. Why are you even reading books?" asked one of the men with a mustache.

"..." the woman did not answer the man's question.

"Oi, did you hear what I said? you must be deaf huh? No wonder you're alone, surely no one wants to be paired with a deaf person HAHAHAHA." said the other man with a hat.

"I'll tell you the reason why I didn't reply to your chatty talk. First, you are noisy, second, you are disturbing someone who is studying, and finally, you are very impolite, what kind of person doesn't introduce himself when he first meets." said the woman while standing up.

"HEY YOU SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR BIG MOUTH BITCH, YOU ARE A WOMAN, WHAT ARE YOU LEARNING FOR? ONLY MEN CAN LEARN." said the man with a mustache next to her in an angry voice.

"Hn, and if only men can study, then where are your manners? Haven't you been taught manners? Or do you not pay attention to how they teach it? If you don't study well, then I suggest you don't need to study. You better give that position to someone who wants to learn." the woman said while looking at the two men.

"Listen you woman, you better shut up or I will-" before the man with the hat finished his words, it was cut off by the woman.

"Or what? Are you guys going to hit me? Please, as if you can do that." the woman said with a grin.

"HAHAHAHAHA don't start begging me to stop when you will face what's gonna happen to you." said the man with the mustache.

"Hmm then come forward and let me show you some manners." said the woman while tying up her hair.

"All right little lady, try not to cry" said the man with the mustache while trying to punch the woman in the stomach.

But to the man's surprise, his hand was stopped by the woman. He looked at the woman with shock while the woman looked at him with an expression as if she was trying to say "what now?" while smirking.

The other man with a hat saw his friend was stopped, he immediately tried to hit the woman on the face but before he could do that, the woman turned her body while twisting the man's hand making the man scream and then kick the man on his face and the man fall on his friend's body. The man with the hat get up and start to run to the woman and pulled up a knife from his jacket and tried to stab the woman, but the woman already dodge it and hit on the center of his stomach with her two fingers causing the knife fall from the man's hand and she take the knife and wound the man in the eye causing the eye to look like it was clawed. The woman throw the knife to the man's side and said

"Pick it up"

Both of the men stared at the woman with shock and fear. And they started to run away from her. The woman chuckled to herself as she cleaned her dirty gown and sat down and started to read the unfinished book again. Oswald was very amazed by the woman's action. He stood up and as he wanted to show himself to the woman that was to focus on the book. So he went to her and stopped in front of her. The woman sighs to herself, she thinks that those two men have come back to her and will demand a rematch with her.

"Seriously, what do you guys wan-" ask the woman while looking up to make herself shocked. Because currently in front of her was the god himself who is now looking at her with a proud smile, that it makes her confused.

"My Lord. What do I owe for your visit today?" ask the woman while bowing 90 degrees to show him respect.

"There's no need to bow so deeply and I was actually spending my time walking around this unending kingdom and I just happened to see you and those two men . I was planning to help you but then I saw how you handle this kind of thing and I was very impressed." said Oswald

"You flatter me my lord... well then I should get going now, excuse me my lord." said the woman while trying to leave but before she could leave, a hand grabbed her wrist making the woman look behind her.

"My lord?" ask the woman to her god.

"..... ohh I'm sorry. Please forgive me for grabbing your hand without warning." said Oswald to the woman who is now staring at him with wide opened eyes.

"No it's okay my lord. Well now please excuse me my lord" said the woman as she turned back and started to walk away.

"Wait... if you don't mind, may I know your name and can we meet again tomorrow?" ask Oswald to the woman while rubbing his hand at the back of his neck.

The woman smiled beautifully at him and said "My name is Julianna but they always called me Anna. And yes we can meet again tomorrow."

Oswald then smiled brightly after a long time and they said their goodbyes to each other as they walked away from each other, going home with a smile and they can't wait for the next day to come.

The next day finally arrived and they started talking about their day and they went home and the next day they met again and hung out at the cafe to get to know each other deeper and the next day and the next day again until they finally fell in love and promised to always be beside each other respectively. When the people heard the news of their love, they were very happy for the couple but that couldn't beat the happiness of the people in the next 5 years when they heard that they were getting married. The people also prepared as perfectly as possible for the two couples even the gods helped too. And then came their wedding day. There they delivered their vows and they became husband and wife. Throughout the day, all the citizens and gods dance, eat while celebrating the marriage of the 2 couples.

Oswald and Anna were standing on their balcony looking down at their kingdom. Oswald hugged his wife's waist and whispered at her. "I wonder what the future awaits for us?"

Anna turned her body while hugging Oswald and said "I don't know, but There's one thing that I'm very sure about our future."

"And what's that?" ask Oswald while staring lovingly at his wife.

"I'm very sure that we will always be beside each other." said Anna pressing her head at Oswlad's chest.

"Hmm... I'm so thankful that you're my wife, I love you Anna."

"I love you too Oswald." Anna said as they kissed each other's lips full of love.
