The next morning, I woke up around 6am.. I don't know why, it's like my body was excited that moving day was here.. I walked down the hall to momma's room and slowed down when I heard her talking on the phone..
"I know it, I will dang Chelsea, it's too early fa dis foolishness!!.."
I could tell by the tone of her voice and by who she was talking to, Momma was aggravated with whatever was going on..
I lightly tapped on her door to let her know I was coming inside..
She yelled for me to come in as she continued her conversation..
"I'm not going to be babysitting these grown behind women, I have a life of my own to live Chelsea, but you better believe, I'm not going to let anything happens to my girls..
"Wat's wrong momma??.." I asked
"Girl, yo god momma getting on my nerves about us moving!!.."
"I guess she don't want Raquel to go huh??.." I asked
"Ion care wat she wants at dis point, we hitting the road today!!.." she exclaimed..
"Yup, and I'm ready ta go!!.." I said and we both laughed..
Soon after we started moving around and packing the truck and hooking the car to the trailer..
Raquel had everything she owned except for her bedroom furniture because her momma wouldn't let her take it.. She said that Quel's younger sister daisy is taking her room and needs the furniture..
Quel didn't even care, as long as she was getting away.
We were on the road by 9am..
During the drive, we took turns at the wheel so that we didn't have to make any unnecessary stops along the way!!..
A few hours later, we arrived to this beautiful two story home that my Mom had purchased for us..

As soon as the car stopped, me and Quel ran up the driveway like we were little kids..
We went inside and it was enormous!! I couldn't believe that momma had found this house for us and I was so thankful that she did..
Momma stepped inside the house for the 1st time and I could see the tears forming in her eyes..
"It's ok Momma, we gonna help you take care of everything!!.." I promised..
Me and Raquel took off upstairs to claim our rooms..
The house had 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, so it was more than enough room for the 3 of us..
I chose the room with the beautiful view of the land and Quel's room is directly across from mine.. Momma chose her room on the opposite side of the house which was perfect for me a Quel..
We unpacked the small stuff and then waited for the moving crew to finish the rest..
Once we got all settled in we all took a well deserved nap!!..
"Sus, you up??.." I heard Quel calling through the door..
"Yea, come in sus.." I responded..
"Nah, hoe you know that we in the A, and aint no sleeping all day here!!"
"Bitch we been here fa 6 hours, wtf you mean??!!.. I said with a chuckle..
"I know, but we going some wea tonight, Ion care wat you say so get yo ass up!!.." Quel demanded..

"And so wat.. get yo ass tf up!!.." Quel said as she exited my room..
"Ion kno who momma she think she is!!.." I said to myself while getting out of bed to get dressed..
After we were both dressed and looking good as ever, we stepped out for the first time on the Atlanta scene..
