Background
During his childhood, Chan moved to Sydney, Australia, and moved homes many times. He took dance classes including ballet and modern dance. He also enjoyed playing sports and won swimming awards. At the age of 13 in 2010, he passed a local audition in Australia for the K-pop label JYP Entertainment. Chan trained at JYPE for 7 years. In December 2017, it was revealed that Bang Chan would debut as the leader of the boy group "Stray Kids". Stray Kids officially debuted in March 25th 2018. He speaks English, Korean, Japanese and a bit of Chinese.
