Chapter 1
It was nine p.m. and that building was almost empty because half of the staff had already gone home when Mino arrived there. His face was as red as the turtle-neck sweater he wore which covered half of it.
"Mino-ya, why are you here?" a lady who was in the elevator asked him when he entered the elevator, but Kihoon–who was following behind Mino– gave a sign to the lady to just shush and don't disturb him. So the lady just nodded and then pressed the panel and let the elevator bring them up.
"Hyung!"
Mino entered the Executive Producer office without even knocking it first.
The man who was sitting at his chair lifted his eyes from the monitor and looked at him without really showing any expression, "Mino-ya." He already knew that this was coming up.
Mino walked closer and stopped right in front of his desk, "Tell me what is this? Why did you cancel my solo without even talking to me first?! And what's that Dancing With The Star thing?"
Mino paused and took a deep breath. He was trying his best to not explode right then. He was so angry and disappointed. Earlier in the evening, he just got the info from his road manager that his solo album would be postponed by the agency and they told him to join a TV program called Dancing With The Star.
Lee Jukjae looked at Mino. "Sit down, Mino-ya. Let's talk first."
Mino then sat himself down. He was angry but wanted to know the reason from Lee Jukjae first.
"Mino-ya, this is the decision from the agency. We decided it as a preventive action to protect you and your first solo from the plagiarism scandal–"
"But Mickey didn't do much in this album. This is completely mine. Why should I be affected by his scandal?" Mino cutted his words.
"–I know. But everyone knew you two worked together and co-produced many of your songs. People will link you to Mickey even though in your solo album you work mostly by yourself and he didn't have many contributions."
Mino still clenched his jaws. Jukjae walked to him and leaned back himself on the desk as he touched Mino's shoulder. "We just postponed it for a while Mino-ya, at least until this plagiarism scandal is clear. Mickey and our team are now working to prove it. I promise we will release your solo album as soon as it could be."
Mino sighed and looked at Jukjae. He really wanted to argue back but he couldn't. A part of him agreed that what he said made sense.
"What's about that Dancing with The Star or something? Why did you put me in that kind of program? I won't do that!"
