THE CARNIVAL - 9:28 PM

SEPTEMBER 14TH , 2021

It was a normal, cloudy night in Harlem.
I was currently holding hands with my bestfriend, Y/n. Who i planned on sharing my feelings with that night. We were just walking throughout the area until she decided to run off with one of her other friends to play another game. I nodded her off, we hugged, and she left.

The truth is .. I really liked y/n, she was my whole heart. I had always felt something special about her since we first laid eyes on eachother. I'd do anything to have her in my arms, let alone be around her. I liked the way her hair was styled, how her eyes lit up everytime she talked about something she liked, and how soft, and plump her lips looked. I just liked everything about y/n honestly, i loved her.

And i'd do anything to keep her safe.

I walked over to another booth to play a game spotting the people who i was originally supposed to come here with.

My older brothers Jay , Notti , And my other bestfriend Ddot.

"What's up DD, wheres Y/n?" Notti walked away from the game over to me. "She ran off with a group of girls i'm assuming was her friends, Eva might've been with them i'm not sure, i wasn't looking."

".. DD you straight?" Notti raised his eyebrow in concern. "Yeah i'm good. What's up with you?" "Nothing, its just .. You're talking so clear and proper right now. I'm shocked you haven't cursed yet. Are you worried about Y/n? Or something?"

My mind went blank. This whole time i've only been thinking about Y/n, and if she's enjoying herself. Is this what being inlove feels like? This shit is awful. I can't stop thinking about her well being. Has she eaten while we've been here? Is it too loud? Too bright? Damn i need to find Y/n.

"Listen, If you wanna go hang with your girl, then go. I mean who am i to cockblock?" I laughed at Notti's remark, i'll stay for a little longer, then i'll shoot her a text.

"Whatever you do isn't my buisness DD. However, please don't do nothing stupid. Deadass. Don't get in no trouble, no fighting, and no sexual activities."

Jay just HAD to throw his two cents in like his broke ass didn't need 'em. "Yeah sure, whatever. I'm not leaving yet anyway." I walked over to the game they were playing, I could tell Ddot was pretty frustrated. I payed the guy at the booth and started focusing on the object of the game.

I lined up my dart with the balloon,

*POP!*

Once again, i picked up another dart,

*POP!*

Nice. If i hit this last one, i'll be able to get Y/n a teddy bear. Or actually, the panda. I think she'd like that better.

One last time, i picked up my dart.

*BANG!*

All of a sudden, there was a loud noise followed by some flashing lights and a bubble machine. Dramatic much? My heads starting to hurt like a bitch.

"Congrats! You're the 20th winner tonight. So you actually get to take two prizes down from the wall."

Well it was just my lucky day wasn't it?

Now, any normal person would've gotten something for themselves. Which is exactly why i grabbed the panda plush, and the teddy bear.
