Chapter 4

Elizabeth's POV

After so long i finally felt Harry's lips on mine.And i honestly i didn't and wont regret it...the thing is i don't know if i should act surprise or not.
"Harry! What the hell!"i push him away.
"You know you liked it! Don't lie "he chuckled.
"Harry I'm engaged!"I whisper fiercely.
"You still let your self!"he says.
"Ugh let's just get over with it and tell michelle"I walk in the apartment.
I find Michelle sitting on the couch alone,Emma sitting across her.I didn't know if she really hated her or just jealous that she didn't even had Harry most of her life.
"Michelle...Harry and I have some very strong and important things to say..."I say sitting next to her.
"What is it?"she asked.
"Umm...you know how I was telling you that I dated your mother?"Harry says sitting infront of her.
"What about it?"she looks at me and Harry.
"When we were young we had lots of problems as we dated and got separated for a while...Elizabeth's foster parents and step brother didn't want us together..."Harry says as he glances at Michelle and Emma.
"Then they made you and my dad cheated on your mom and he didn't want to take care of you so he left back to were my mom was and made me so ...ps.He's your dad!"Emma says in a very sarcastic tone to Michelle's face and tries to walk out.
"You're what?"Michelle panics.
"...yes i am your dad but don't listen to everything Emma said"Harry says.
Michelle gets up and pushes Harry away from her.
"Michelle calm down"I say trying to pulll her away from Harry.
"And you! you lied to me! ...When all you should've done was tell me the truth!"she looked and pointed at me as she begins to cry.
"All of you lied"she falls to the grown and cries.
"Michelle...you don't know how sorry I am,but if you just let me explain with calm you will understand !"Harry says to her as he tries to hug her.
I couldn't handle the pain she was in.It was like I was pushed against the wall with so much force and wasn't able to breath. I don't know if I should even be here right now I feel so guilty I feel so empty seeing my little girl cry her heart out just because I lied to her and Harry wasn't there for her.
"How could you guys do this to me?"she asked looking so hopeless.
Evan walks out of his room looks at all of us and picks up Michelle from the floor .
"Just let her breath! Get away from her!"Evan shouts and takes Michelle from Harry's arms to his room.
"I feel so shattered "I cry into my hands.
" Emma wait for me in the car"Harry says to her and she rolls her eyes as she has been told.
"Elizabeth we had to tell her one way or a other...she had to know "Harry says walking to me as he cleans his tears.
"I'll come by tomorrow morning when she has calmed down..."He says as he cups my face with one hand,he then cleans my tears.
"Thank you"he whispers and kisses my head.
"I'll keep you updated"I say and kiss him on the cheek.
I walk to my room to find Austin packing clothes in a suitcase.
"What are you doing?"I ask him confused
"I have a job interview in NYC "He says avoiding my face.
"That far? ...you are going to be away for too long"I walk close to him.
"I need this job,I need to get us out of this place"He continued to pack.
"We are fine here! There isn't a problem with living here"I stop him from doing a other movement.
"We are fine here?!...Are you saying that cause your "love of your life" is here? Are you fucking joking?"He stops and looks at me with so much anger and sarcasm
"Austin I-"
"You what? Now you don't wanna marry me? Now that Harry is here trying to ruin out perfect life's!? He dramatically lifted his has as he would talk
"What is your problem!? You need to calm down Austin, all I'm trying to do here is to keep out family together and try to act like one for once!"I say and I go up to him.
"You wouldn't understand my feelings"He pushes me away from him.
"Austin I have feelings too and I have been pressured and unable to think with all this shit going on! But if you want to leave from this apartment because of Harry,then you can stay and I'll leave with Michelle back to my home town "I say to his face waiting for him to react.
"You still love him don't you?"he asks in a calmer tone but more in a mad way .
I stay quiet because the answer was obvious.he started back at me and clenched his jaw hard.
"I-I love you Austin..." I knew better than to think Harry was still the one.
He nod and clenched his jaw halving his hands in a fist like he was ready to punch something.
"Bullshit! "
"Do you really think I'm going to believe that?...I'm not a fucking child to believe that shit I'm a grown ass 36 year old Liz!"
"Do you not know what feeling are? I've felt you distant for so long now how could you even say you wanna marry me if you still live Harry!?"he shouts in my face.
I felt like I'm being scold or more like punished and I didn't know what to do then to just stand there and take every single word he's saying...
"I'm sorry"I softly say.
"Of course you are"he closes the suitcase.
He walks away from me and knocks on Evan's door.
"Evan pack your things,I'm taking you to your grandma's house"he says from the outside.
"You don't have to take him...I'll wait till you come back from NYC "I say
"Why?"Evan opens the door.
"Don't question me"he says in a demanding tone.
"I'm not leaving Michelle "he responds to him
"Now all of the sudden you like Michelle?"Austin gives him a sarcastic laugh.
"I'm not going to leave her."Evan says from behind the door.
"I hope to see you outside in 10 minutes.Pack your things we are leaving "he says and walks by me into the room.
"Austin can you please just stop acting this way?"I say going behind him.
"What way can I possibly be acting! Just get away from me"he pushes me roughly.
I walk out the room and close the door behind me.I open the door to Evan's room to find them on the floor,Evan hugging Michelle as she sleeps on his chest.
"What's going on here?"I say walking to them.
"Nothing...just Michelle wanting to be by my side"Evan says.
"I'm not stupid Evan ...I know you guys"I says.
"Then if you know stop asking questions "he looks down and runs his fingers through Michelle's hair.
"When did this happened?"I ask.
"Way before we even knew about you guys being together "he says.
" are you guys still together?"I ask.
"No...I don't think that will ever happen "his voice cracks.
"I'll talk to your dad"I say Walking away.
"NO! ...don't "he shouts making me stop at the door.
"What?...why not?"I ask confused.
"He'll be very upset."he looks down.
"I'm pretty sure I'll make him take things slowly "I tell him.
"Please Elizabeth...don't do it"he begs
"Okay.."I nod. I go back to the kitchen to find a mess .I start to slowly clean everything but as I'm cleaning I start to think things through about Harry ,Austin , Michelle ,Evan and Emma. What's going to happen next?
I see Austin come out of the room and walk towards me .
"I've always loved you Liz,everything about you" he looks into my eyes .
"But I know that you won't love me the way I do" he adds
"But I hope that you find the perfect match" he kisses me one last time.
"Austin,thank you for everything " I say and kiss him back.i hand him back his engagement ring and he puts it in his pocket. He carries his suitcases and walks out of the apartment.

Evan's POV

Elizabeth nods and walks out the room,closing the door softly.Michelle wakes up and looks up to me with a weak smile.
"How are you feeling?"I ask.
"I-I feel tiered "she says in a raspy girl tone.
"You want to sleep in my room tonight?"I ask her.
"...why did you take me away from them?"she asked.
"Because I can..."I simply smile.
"You didn't have too"she sits up.
"But thank you "she kisses my cheek.
I giggle and touched where she kissed me with my finger tips.
"What?..."she asked confused.
"Is this like our first kiss?"i giggled.
"...you could say"she smiled.
"Evan,I'm sorry for making you mad at me"she looks into my eyes.
"Michelle ,don't apologize.I should be the one ,I'm sorry I've been acting like a total dick with you "I say grabbing her hand.
"It's fine...just don't do it again"she says.
"Evan let's go!"my dad shouts from outside.
Michelle looks at me and asked. "Where are you going?"
"I guess my dad and your mom got in a argument...he wants to leave and take me as well."I explain.
"I don't want you to leave "she hugs me.
"Then let's leave together"I say.
She looks up at me and gets up.

Harry's POV

"You fucking suck"Emma says to me
"I suck?...you should be proud that I'm here for you now!something I didn't do for Michelle"I say as I have my hands on the steering wheel.
"Oh what ever! Hope She never ever forgives you!"she says as she crosses her arms.
"Oh trust me she isn't an ignorant little girl like you!"I say .
"Grow up Emma...you shouldn't be acting that way!"I say.
"You can't tell me what to do! I don't know if you really are my dad ...I mean you did show up All late to my life already !"she shouts to my face.I stop the car in mid street and face her.I slapped her and she finally stood quiet.she immediately covered her scared face and looks at me.
When I finally noticed I had slapped her I looked back at her and try to grab her before she got off the car.
"Emma I'm sorry"I say.
"No no no! Don't fucking touch me!"she pushed me away.
"I can't believe you"she looked away from me.
"Emma you are just like your mother,I'm sorry but you have to stop acting like a little child"I say.
"I'm not like that lady.I'm not a drug addict,I'm not a fuck up,I'm not a slut that she was! So don't fucking compare!"she cries and shouts.
"You are right...I'm very sorry"I look at her.
"When we get home please don't bother to talk to me..."she says.
I nod and look into the road.
I noticed that we got home fast.She got off and went inside the house quietly.I walk into the house and turn the lights on.I took off my coat and walk into my room taking out my phone.I dialed Elizabeth's house phone and sat on the bed.
"Hello?"she answered.
"Liz,how's Michelle?"I ask.
"She ran away"she cries on the phone.
"What do you mean!?"I sit up and run to the front door and put my coat back on.
"I thought she was with Evan but he isn't here either!"she sobbed.
"I'll be there in a few"I say.
I run to Emma's room and open her door.
"Baby I'll be back,Michelle ran away with Evan."I say to her.
"Hope you find her"she lays on the bed.
"Do you want to come?"I ask her.
"I'm sleepy...I'll stay"She covers her self .
I nod and close the door.

Michelle's POV

"I can't believe we did this"I jump in joy.
"I think I needed this!"I smile.
"Lets just hope they don't find us"
Evan says.
"Where will we go?"I ask.
"I know where"he smiles.
We walked for half an hour into a little dark forest I've never seen.Evan started removing some dirt and grass off of a little wooden door on the grown.
"What is this?"I ask.
"A place me and my friends use too smoke in"he walks down some stairs.
"C'mon"he reaches for me.
As I walk down with him, it smelled like pure pot down here.He turned three big candles on,there was couches and blankets everywhere,posters of all kinds of old bands on the walls.
"Who made this?"I ask.
" honestly I don't know...we found it"he smiles.
"Pretty cool right?"he asks.
"Yeah..."I smile.Evan fixes the couches and placed them together to for a bed.
"But of course we don't have to be here if you don't want"he says.
"It's fine here"I say.
"It's fine as long as I'm with you..."I hug and kiss him.
