While the distant voice kept calling, your teary eyes slowly start to open.
You can barely see your surroundings as your eyes cannot focus properly. You feel pressure on your chest and it's hard to breathe. You close your eyes again and a small teardrop runs down your face. However, a warm and familiar touch prevent that small traveler to reach further on your skin.

The voice calls again.

For the second time, you try to open your eyes. This time, you can recognize where you are. Slowly turning your head, you face the person right next to you, gazing at you with concern.

- Taehyung...

Your eyes start to lose focus again as a wave of pain crashes on you. As you start sobbing, Taehyung cages you in his embrace. One arm around your shoulders and his other hand caressing your hair.

He whispers while kissing the top of your head.

Still struggling to breathe, you continue sobbing on your boyfriend's chest. His skin, warm and soft, having a calm effect on you.
As you slowly regain your breathe pace, you feel your body getting lighter. Your sobs start to slow and you can hear the rhythmical heartbeats on his chest. Again, having a calm effect on you.
You place your left ear on his chest center, trying to pursuit the melody further as you try to assemble some words you know he deserves to hear.

You finally let out.

- I thought I was better...

You wrap your arms around Taehyung as you let the truth out. And as he feels your tight embrace, he hugs you back, landing another kiss on your scalp.

- It's ok Y/N. Having those dreams doesn't mean you aren't better. It means you still remember. And that's okay.

As he lets out this words, the heaviness on your chest starts to fade away. Slowly pushing yourself away from his chest, you gradually climb your eyesight to his face level.

As you both chuckled at your own remarks, you exchange a lazy kiss as you straighten your bodies, stiff from taking the after sex nap on his atelier floor.
