Jungkook's POV:
After school I walked to the bus stop and found myself turning to look behind me at the school campus to see if Reba was around.
I caught myself and shook my head in disapproval, "Come on man you only met her today." I whisper to myself before stopping in-front of the bus stop. I plug in my earbuds and begin to play the music.
The cars rushing past me causing a large gust of wind to move my hair out of my face. I pull out my pen and once again hit it. Letting the drug sink into my system and send me into a spiral where all my worries disappear.
The bus stops in-front of me and I get on not looking back to see if Reba was coming. I sit down and realize the man is on the bus again.
I ignore him and turn back around only to see that beautiful girl running towards the bus, "Hey stop the bus!" I yell at the bus driver who slams the breaks.
The bus doors open and she walks in panting, "thank you!" She says in the middle of her quick breaths. I watch as she walks past me and I get up to follow her.
"Why are you following me?" She asks as she sits down a few rows down from that old man.
I sit behind her and leans over her shoulder, "I'm guessing I did upset you." She puts in her right earbud leaving the left one on her lap. Indicating that she wants to have this conversation.
"You didn't 'upset me'," she adds a mocking tone to her words, "I just found it a little disrespectful." I can hear her music playing and smile at the fact that she has such an old fashioned taste in music.
I hear a light deep chuckle from behind me and turn to look at the old man who now has a newspaper with him instead of his crossword puzzle's.
"It won't happen again, I'll keep my phone on silent next time." I say before moving her hair from her face. Showing a scar on her temple.
"Next time?" She asks as she removes my hand and covers her scar with her hair.
Reba's POV:
He wants me to ditch ANOTHER class? I mean it's not like I really pay attention in class anyways. I'm always reading or drawing. I'm one of those people who gets in trouble for having a book out during class.
"I'll do better." Jungkook says, his words sending shivers down my spine. It's like he wants my approval and I can't help but give in to this new temptation.
I get lost in thought and didn't realize I missed my stop. I quickly pull the cord that's attached to the buzzer.
"Stop requested."
I watch as the bus comes to a stop and I run out leaving him without an answer.
The whole walk home I started thinking about my day at school. So many things happened in the 9 hours I spent out of the house. When I got home my dad was sitting at his computer.
A displeasing smell of alcohol wafted over me as I walked into the house. He seemed to be in a bad mood.
"I'm home." I say before shutting the door and putting my backpack down on the couch.
"How was your day?" He asked as he clicked away on his computer.
"It was good, I made new friends." I smile to myself.
My dad grunts before turning around in his chair with his phone, he plays a voicemail out loud.
"Reba was absent during her 2nd period."
