Chapter 3

The weekend had flown by, and I went to bed in the morning sloshed both nights of the event. The VIP’s were buying me drinks left and right, I couldn’t even remember the mix of faces I had seen through out the event. I loved every second working it, it had beeen like a dream, and I had made so many tips.

Tonight was mine, Sienna, and Tophers night to just let loose and party with the VIP’s that had stayed and their people, who had definitely stayed. I was excited, I wanted to be comfortable and let loose. I pulled out the hottest outfit I had brought with me, a tight fishnet half tank and a pair of black jeans, along with my favorite boots. Sienna walked out of the second bathroom as I walked out of the first in a gorgeous blacck dress, the top half fishnetted and the bottom half was black faux leather. We both squealed at eachothers outfits while she dragged me into the second bathroom to touch up the side of my head with a razor and to add a braid with red ribbon to be able to easily find me in the crowd. I did her braid in return and helped her out with her makeup. Once we were done she looked like an ethereal glitter being and I lookedlike her emo body guard.

Once we were done Iheard someone knocking on our door and I peeked thru the peep hole to  see Topher outside, in blue jeans and a light flannel. I opened up the door and Sienna poked her head around the corner to size him up.

“You’re going to the club in that?” She asked, an eyebrow raised.

“What’s wrng with it?” He questioned in response. His short black hair was slicked back, and he looked pretty good. She walked up to him quickly, and he teleported behind me. “You best not cut anything, I want to lookk nice.”

“I’m  not going to cut anything, just trust me.” She gently moved me and tarted rolling up his sleeves.

“Why do you want to look nice? It’s the club, we can express ourselves how we want.” I asked, watching him watch her intently.

“The Kloke Jumpers are part of my family. Their leader is my Mom’s brother. The oldest, Sian, is my age and I used to babysit Nox, the youngest. Nox sees me as their big cousin, who’d never harm a fly. I’d rather ease them into knowing I’m a bit bigger and scarier than they realize.” Topher explained.

“That is overly sweet, I’m sure Nox will love you all the same, big and scary or not.” Sienna smiled, unbuttoning the top two buttons that looked like they were strangling him. She straightened his loose collar and smiled, and he grinned right back.

We quickly got ourselves out the door and down to the club. Their regular bouncer, a large Cyclopse with the greenest eye I’d ever seen, recognizing Topher immediately and shaking his hand. He let us all in without question and we waed in, gettting vibrated by the bass before we could get far. We walked around the inlaid dance floor, aiming to grab a few drinks before we got wild in the ccrowd of dancers. Sienna was near jumping out of her fangs excited, she’d wanted us to be able to experince this gorgeous place since we’d gotten here. I was just excited to dink the drinks I’d been mixing the past two nights, and Topher had expressed more excitement about seeing his cousin. I’d never seen him so stoked in the four years I’d known him. It warmed my heart.

We got to the bar, and Abe, the Cyber Ihad ben working with the past two days happily greeted me and sliid me a tall, blue, glowing drink. Cybers are all computer, so his reflexes were better than a vampires as he caught the tip I lid to him with flowing grace. When I was halfway thru the drink, he came over to see how I was doing.

“This tastes great! What is it? I don’t think I saw it made at all the past few days!”

“It’s something our head bartender made! She makes drinks based on peoples auras, they’re strangley always so spot on.” He chuckled
