At the Beginning of the End

When the house of Velaryon came to the couples that were on the floor Agha got up from the table and walked to his wife. When he reached her, he snaked an arm around her waist and held her to him.  Amata placed a hand on his chest and laid her head down. She was tired of dancing and wanted to sleep with Agha, but when she saw the members of House Velaryon she got out of his arms, (much to Agha's childish annoyance) and curtsied to the Lord and Lady.

Corlys was mad that his son was not chosen to marry the crown princess and wanted to speak with Sultan Osman about his decision. Lady Rhaeyns was intrigued with Amata Hightower and wanted to meet with the girl. Laena wanted to meet with Amata as soon as she was available because she heard all of Lady Amata's stories, her beauty, and her mind. Lenor was doing what he was told to, but he wanted to spend the night with his lover, Joffrey. Osman saw the young man and knew he made the right choice for his niece. He looked at Baela and saw that she knew too.  Osman smiled reassuringly at her, and she sighed softly. Soon the two were met with the Lord and Lady of House Velaryon, and Osman signaled Lord Corlys to follow him to his tent, and Baela took her cousin's arm and followed her husband. When the group got to the tent Osman ordered that no one within a hundred feet is not allowed to be near the tent. Then men saluted their Sultan, and he walked into the tent. Maids set up the table and got teacups for the groups and one that carried the teapot stood at the back of her Sultana and waited for the right moment to fill their cups. Baela and Osman sat at one side of the table, while Lord and his wife at the other.

Osman: I understand your rage, but know this is a better way.

Corlys: How so?

Osman: I understand that your son has, a different taste in gender, my Lord.

Corlys gasped softly, his eyes widening for a moment, fear in them as he looked at the young Sultan.

Osman: Fear not my lord, my wife and I will not speak of this, but we need your help. Otto's father plans... to kill Otto, and if Alicent bears a son, that son will be Otto's greatest pawn and an obstacle for Rhaenyra. I believe that your help by siding with the princess will be beneficial to the princess. In return, I offer a place for your son in my court in the Moon Empire.

Baela: I will be there for him and his lover, and rest assured that I will keep them safe.

Corlys bowed his head in thought, weighing his options as the pros of his son being in the Moon Empire. His wife looked at him, worry on her face evident as her husband thought of the offer. Soon the Lord made his choice and agreed to Sultan's offer. Baela comforted her cousin, and her husband and shook hands when there was a female scream near the entrance of the camp. Amata rushed to the entrance of the camp, her husband right behind her as she ran to the sound of the scream. There is a maid of a Lady kneeling in front of the entrance, calling to anyone that would hear her as the guards placed their spears in the ground, preventing her from entering the camp. Amata reached the guards, and when she got a good look at the maid, she realized that the maid was the one that served her cousin Risa.

Amata: What is wrong?

Maid: My lady is giving birth, but there is no one to help her, please I beg you help my lady!!

Amata's heart grew in fear, and she soon called for her horse to her. Her horse, SnowBlight came to her, and Amata, despite wearing a dress got on the horse with no difficulties and she grabbed the maid's hand, and placed her behind. Agha also got on his horse and called for his Physician to come with him. Soon the small group was rushing to a small castle near the hunting grounds. The guards that saw them knew that they were of great importance and without hesitation, they moved out of the way and the group rushed into the castle grounds. Amata hopped off her horse and ran into the hall, Agha and the doctor were not far behind him as the two ran into the hall after Amata.

Amata could hear the screams that Risa was making, her heart pumping her blood and the adrenaline increasing as she ran to the chamber that Risa was in. Amata busted through the door and saw that in that room was a blood bath, the floor was covered with blood trails and things are thrown to the ground when Amata looked around the room to find Risa in the corner, hunched over and groaning in pain.  Amata rushed to her cousin, her hands grasping Risa's shoulders. Risa looked up at Amata, relief and joy took over her face as she grasped Amata's arms.

Amata: I'm here, Risa I'm here.

Risa: Amata...I'm so sorry....

Amata: Physician! Physician!

Soon the Physician and Agha barged into the room, and both of the men stood still in shock of the room. Agha was having a light panic attack at the blood on the floor, the halls and the stone floors at home were once covered in the blood of countless people who had died in those halls. The thought of all of those people filled the Sultan's mind when he felt a pair of hands touch the sides of his face, his eyes focusing on one face, Amata's face.

Amata: Please, Agha. Stay with me.

Soon the two women got Risa on the bed and the Physician got out his tools and medicine so that the lady could have a smooth delivery. Agha left the room, softly closed the door, and focused on his breathing.

Soon he could hear the sounds of Risa's crying and the maid's comforting words and a new fear hit Agha. Will this be Amata, crying, screaming, and groaning on the birthing bed? How can he help her in her pain? Then a new thought hit his mind, where was Risa's husband?!

Agha's top guards, the Black Stars followed after him, and when the leader of the Black Stars saw how tense the Sultan's shoulders were he knew that something was wrong.

Agha: Bring me the Lord and Lady Lannister. I have questions for them. I don't care how you bring them, even if their bones are broken and they are bleeding from cuts I want answers to this! Also, find Lady Risa's husband! Bring him, and all of the staff that works here. I want answers! Now!!

The men bowed to their Sultan and rushed to carry out his orders, then the sounds of a baby filled the air. The physician was holding the baby in the air, declaring that it was a boy. Amata was looking at her cousin with fear, as her cousin had her eyes closed, her face calm and she wasn't moving at all.

Amata: Risa?! Risa!!

The Physician placed the baby in the maid's arms and rushed to Risa's side to check her pulse. Much to his horror, and sadness the lady had passed. He took a step back, and he knelt to his Sultanna, his head bowed in grief.

Physician: Please forgive me, my Sultana, I have failed you. The Lady has passed, she lost too much blood.

Amata looked at her cousin, tears streaming down and her heart, slowing down in grief took over.  Agha came into the room, the scene of the dead woman on the birthing bed, and Amata, her head down and the tears falling. Agha rushed to Amata's side and held her to him, her tears staining his wedding coat as he held her to him. This wasn't supposed to be like this, it was their wedding day, and a stupid Lion had destroyed it, but what was his reason for it?! He would have answers, even if he had to take lives for them. This night would be the beginning of the blood trail that the husband and wife would take, and to show the world of nobles and the lower classes, that they would stain their hands in blood to maintain order and control.
