Arthur POV

"So this is my future self, I knew it, that name came from my previous life, it wasn't a coincidence, but why do I look different? What occurred? What happened to Sylvie? I'll have to question him "Arthur pondered

"Is that, Arthur?" Tessia commented

"He seems older and more attractive," Aya observed.

Alice and Ellie were sobbing and watching Grey hug Reynolds when Galaxy revealed that his father perished in the battle, which surprised Reynolds and Twin Horns.

Except for the alcaryans, I believe Seris was aware, but the navy haired girl was taken aback.

"Alright, Break is done; now it's time to discover what truly transpired in the combat." Galaxy grinned despite his bored tone.

Still Arthur POV

Frustration, anxiety, doubt, and fear—all of those emotions faded as a shroud of black lightning crackled around me. I let myself sink deeper into the cold embrace of Realm heart. The feeling reminded me of when I had talked to Lord Indrath, Sylvie's grandfather. He had that lofty, detached air around him as if he wasn't a part of this world, but above it. I started to realize why.

"What exactly happened?" According to King Glayder

Galaxy explained that Arthur had entered the integration stage, which came after the white stage.

"What? Is there another stage?" Everyone stated

Yeah, let us proceed.

As aether continued to coalesce around me, weaving its ethereal tendrils into my body, I could see the runes spreading and connecting with one another around my body. I felt calloused, numb as the power from Sylvia's dragon will flowed freely. It was an intoxicating feeling.

I was a ---- in my ------- life, and I stood as one of the pinnacles of strength throughout an entire continent in this life, but what I felt now was true—divine—power.

'Arthur! Stop! You're hurting yourself,' Sylvie begged in my mind, but I pushed it aside. I was tired of losing battle after battle. Uto, Cylrit, the scythe that had taken Sylvia—I had lost to all of them.

Not today, especially not against this fraud who had possessed the body of my closest friend.

"Well, he'd had enough of losing," Seris remarked.

"Wait, you lost against Uto the retainer," Virion replied.

"Yeah, but Seris here rescued me," I explained.

"And who seized your friend's body?" Varay inquired.

"I don't know," a guy called Nico stated after Galaxy sliced me.

Wait, I recognized that name; it can't be him I thought.

The tendrils of lightning shifted in color as they coiled around my body. I could see the aether being drawn to me and the black lightning soon had a faint shade of purple mixed in.
