Y/n's adventure of Scarlet and Violet

Getting the paths, the treasure hunt begins

After exploring South Province Area One, Y/n found himself at a Pokemon center, which is different then the ones he seen before. There he was talking to his old friend Gladion.

"You sure about this Gladion?"

"Of course, you found and helped it. I don't think it trusts anymore then you, and we agree aura guardians is the best trainers for them."

"Understood, i'll take good care of it." Y/n said as he held up a cherish ball.

After Y/n was finished with his call, he met with Nemona.

"Hey Y/n, lets have a battle,i'll show you Paldea's unique gimmick."

"Unique gimmick?"

"You know Kalos have mega evolution, Alola has Z moves and Galar has Dynamax? Well Paldea as a gimmick too, but explaining it is boring, i'll show you in battle."

Chuckling, Y/n agreed. Once ready, they sent out their starters. Deciding to test his new Rotom phone, he scanned both starters.

"Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokemon. A Fire Type. Its flame sac is small, so energy is always leaking out. This energy is released from the dent atop Fuecoco's head and flickers to and fro."

"Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokemon. A Grass Type. Its fluffy fur is similar in composition to plants. This Pokemon frequently washes its face to keep it from drying out."

"Ember!"

"Leafage!"

Fuecoco opens his mouth and multiple shoots bolts of fire while Sprigatito fires multiple glowing green leaves from its body. The attacks clashed before ember overpowered leafage and struck Sprigatito, even leaving a burn.

"Tackle!"

"Scratch!" 

Both starters rushed forward before clashing, but Sprigatito's burn weakened it enough for Fuecoco to overpower it, knocking it back knocked out.

Nemona called the grass cat Pokemon. "Nice , but let's see how you handle this, go Pawmi!"

"Pawmi?" Y/n said curiously before scanning it.

"Pawni, The Mouse Pokemon. A Electric Type. It has underdeveloped electric sacs on its cheeks. These sacs can produce electricity only if Pawmi rubs them furiously with the pads on its forepaws."

"Like a Pichu?"

"Kinda, Pawmi has been called Paldea's Pichu." Nemona shrugged. "Now for what you been waiting to see, Pawmi, time to Terastallize!"

"Terastallize?"

Nemona held up a crystal orb, causing it to gather light. Once it began to shake, she threw it at Pawmi. Crystal pillars surrounded the mouse Pokemon before it shattered, revealing Pawmi has been crystalized and has a gem that looks like a light bulb on it's head.

"This is Terastallizing, where a Pokemon type becomes it's Tera type, which you can tell from the tera jewel on top of the Pokemon." Nemona explained. "When Terastallized, that Pokemon becomes purely that type, and gets a boost with using a move of type. And any duel types will become only it's Tera type, for  example, if your Lucario has a fighting Tera type, it loses it's steel typing and becomes pure fighting while Terastallized."

"That's interesting, Fuecoco, ember!"

"Thundershock!"

Both attacks clash, but the thundershock quickly overpowered ember, knocking Fuecoco back.

"I forgot to mention, if a Pokemon's tera type matches one of it's original types, it's stab moves gets a extra boost."

"Noted, Fuecoco, you still willing to go?" Y/n asked his starter who nodded and began to glow red.
