Belly, my younger sister (by a year) was listening to music in her room with her best friend Taylor, while I was busy packing in my room.

It was finally summer. Meaning, it was time for our annual vacation to Cousins Beach, aka my second home.

"Belly you need to start packing. We're leaving soon. Dont make us late." I said as I walked into her room. I know belly, and I know she always waits till the last minute for things, she gets it from our mom.

"Yea belly, jeez." Taylor laughed. I rolled my eyes and walked back to my room to finish packing. The truth is I never really liked Taylor. Her and Belly have had arguments and they were always started by Taylor, but for some reason belly would always run back to her.

As I was packing in my room I heard Taylor and Belly laughing their asses off. "Come on belly! Conrad wont be able to take his eyes off of you!" Taylor yelled.

"Taylor! This barely covers anything!" Belly yelled back equally as loud as they continued laughing. I knew belly had had a crush on Conrad since she was 11.

"Girls! We're leaving in ten so you better be packed!" Mom yelled from downstairs. I grabbed my suitcase and walked down the stairs. "All ready?" Mom asked as she saw me.

"Yes!" I said excitedly. Mom knew how much I loved Cousins, but what she didn't know, in fact what no one knew, was that I loved Cousins for many reasons, but one in particular. Jeremiah fisher, Conrad's younger brother.

He had golden brown curly hair and the bluest eyes I had ever seen. This boy was the epitome of gorgeous. He had the personality of a Golden Retriever, whereas Conrad was like a black cat, the two were honestly polar opposites.

I was ripped away from my thoughts as Belly and Taylor loudly came down the stairs. "Steven lets go!" My mom yelled at my brother. As Steven came down the stairs my mom opened the door and we all filed out.

As all of us Conklins got into the car Belly and Taylor hugged. "Ill see you on your birthday!" Taylor yelled as Belly got into the back seat with our mom. I climbed into the passenger seat sitting next to Steven, who was in the drivers seat.

As we drove I read my book, Romeo and Juliet. I was always a sucker for romance. Whether it was in movies or books it always enchanted me.

Next thing I knew I saw it. 'Welcome to Cousins Beach' Read the all to familiar sign. Finally.

For me, it was almost like winter didnt count, summer was what mattered. My whole life was measured in summers. Like, I dont really begin living until June. Until Im at that beach. In that house.

The beach house was absolutely my dream house. It was painted a light blue color with beautiful blue flowers boardering it. It was pretty big, and it had a pool in the back, but most importantly, it was so close to the beach.

We eventually pulled into the parking lot of a gas station. As I stepped out of the car I was hit with the wonderful smell of the salty, fresh ocean. My favorite smell.

As we all stepped into the gas station I immediately noticed the cashier eyeing me. It made me slightly uncomfortable but I ignored it.

I looked over and saw Belly ripping open a bag of hot cheetos, shoving some into her mouth. I giggled to myself and grabbed a coca cola from the fridge.

As I walked up to the register the cashier greeted me. I gave a simple 'hello' in response. As he finished scanning my coke he looked at me and confidently asked, "Are you going to the bonfire tonight?" As I was about to respond my mom stepped in, placing her items on the counter.
