Air wubbox x Earth wubbox

' Trying to think of a way to tell him.. '

It was 2 years ago when Earth became best friends with his smaller counterpart, Air Wubbox, one of his species that could actually fly. They would hang out, go to festivals, even try sneak into the human world ( or at least try. ) and have sleepovers. And then it hit him, one day when he was hanging out with Air, he gave Earth the biggest smile ever.. it was too cute for Earth, he felt the love bugs hit in his gears. He tried not to show emotion, but a slight crimson blush coated his face. " Earth..?- are you okay dude- " Air mumbled, looking confused. " HAH- im fine, just thinking about something, nothing important, don't worry. " Earth chuckled awkwardly, " Dont think about drilling into my back again- PlEAse- " Air had a nervous expression cross his face. " D-Don't worry I won't-.. I've learnt from my actions. " Earth looked a bit shocked, ' Air is afraid of me?.. ' He thought. " Anyways, I'll be heading home now, see you sometime, Air. " Earth mumbled, a tint of sadness in his voice, Air looked so puzzled now but he slowly headed home too.

At Earth island
Earth walked into his cave, he just sat there, thinking. " What the hell have I done..I'm horrible, Air is scared of me. Why do I have to have a fucking drill for a hand!?..". His only friend, Air.. The other wubboxes didn't like him due to the amount of pollution coming out of the pipes on his head, what if Air didn't also..Earth tried not to have a big panic attack right now, his mind was on the steampunk themed robot, the lovebugs suddenly hit again in him.. how would he tell Air. How would he tell Air he liked him, after all this time. But after all he did chase after him with his drill for a joke a couple of times, but Air was stupid and believed almost everything. And Earth loved that about Air, he tried to think of a way to apologize and confess to him.

Airs POV:
' Why did Earth leave all of a sudden? And why was he blushing? What was that scrap metal robot thinking about.. ' Air thought, sighing. He was just cleaning the lens of his goggles. He then thought of Earth and the silly moments they have been through, he smiled, a slight yellow blush appearing on his face.. Earth was a big part of Air, no other monsters liked Air because he was pretty loud, But Earth, he was so fun to be with, and plus whenever he wasn't there, he missed Earth dearly, he was..his best friend after all. " Best friend..uhuh.." Air sighed again. The longer he thought of Earth, the sooner butterfly's started to hit. " I don't think i can hold it in for much longer, i have to tell him..I've liked him for a year now, I think it's time. " Air took a deep breath and let it out, getting up and walking outside of his house. " Earth island, here I come. " He spreaded his wings.
